Appearance
Lamiskan is a broad-shouldered black dragonborn with charcoal scales, dull silver eyes, and a pair of swept-back horns chipped from years of street fights. He dresses like a wealthy underworld magistrate, favoring a dark crimson coat, polished boots, gold rings, and a sash embroidered with the crest of his village. His longsword is unusually slender and fitted with an ornate grip. Though it is not a legal arcane focus by itself, Lamiskan uses it as a wand, tracing spell sigils through the air with its point.
Mannerisms
Lamiskan taps the point of his longsword against the floor when thinking, rolls a coin across his knuckles while negotiating, and raises one eyebrow before delivering a threat in an almost courteous tone. When drunk, he becomes dramatically sentimental and insists on toasting people who are not present.
Personality
Lamiskan is charming, theatrical, and disarmingly polite. He treats every conversation like a negotiation and every negotiation like a performance. Beneath the swagger is a watchful protector who notices who is hungry, who is afraid, and who is being exploited. He is generous to those under his protection, ruthless toward those who prey upon them, and incapable of leaving a mystery alone.
Ideals
Protection. Power is only worthwhile when it shields people who cannot shield themselves. If the law refuses to protect my village, then I will become the law they fear and the guardian they trust.
Bonds
Lamiskan rebuilt the village’s defenses through an organized criminal empire. He protects his people from raiders, corrupt officials, and predatory nobles, collecting debts with patience and ruling with an unexpectedly gentle sense of justice. His gang calls him Boss, but many villagers call him guardian. Every favor, smuggling route, and forbidden spell is another thread in his search for Kale and the infernal vault that holds the missing piece of his soul.
Flaws
He drinks to quiet the emptiness left by the stolen memory, and too often drinks past good judgment. He is vain, flirtatious, and prone to treating romance as another game he can win. Lamiskan also believes he can outsmart every danger, including devils, ancient wizards, and his own escalating dependence on power.

Background
Lamiskan was born into comfort, the son of a prosperous dragonborn family whose wealth came from trade, farmland, and careful alliances. His village was peaceful until an evil kenku wizard known only as Kale descended upon it. Kale’s magic tore through homes and minds alike. Lamiskan remembers fire, screams, and the sight of black feathers vanishing into a storm of green light. He also remembers that something precious was taken from him, a memory locked away in the secret tenth vault of Hell. The cruelest part is that he no longer remembers what the memory contained, only that recovering it is worth any price.
