- Bardic InspirationLevel 1
You can inspire others through words, music, or dance. As a Bonus Action, you can inspire another creature within 60 feet who can see or hear you. That creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d6. You can use Bardic Inspiration a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, minimum once, and regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Reaction
- Bell-Thread Rebuke
When A creature within 60 feet makes a damage roll or succeeds on an ability check or attack roll.
A sharp, corrective gesture and a pattern of clashing bells that unnerves a foe and subtracts from their success.
- Cutting WordsLevel 3
You learn to use wit to distract and undermine others. When a creature you can see within 60 feet of you makes a damage roll or succeeds on an ability check or attack roll, you can use your Reaction to expend one use of Bardic Inspiration, roll your Bardic Inspiration die, and subtract the number rolled from that creature's roll.
Always on
- Temple Benediction
When An ally within 60 feet can see or hear Gelberi and she uses Bardic Inspiration.
A radiant support dance that inspires allies and steadies their spirits, represented by bells and graceful steps rather than a traditional instrument.
- SpellcastingLevel 1
You know two cantrips of your choice from the Bard spell list. You also know and can cast Bard spells using Charisma as your spellcasting ability. You prepare six level 1+ Bard spells from the Bard spell list, and you have four level 1 spell slots and two level 2 spell slots. You can use a musical instrument as a spellcasting focus for your Bard spells.
- ExpertiseLevel 2
You gain Expertise in two of your skill proficiencies of your choice, which means your Proficiency Bonus is doubled for those skills.
- Jack of All TradesLevel 2
You can add half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down, to any ability check you make that uses a skill proficiency you lack and that doesn’t otherwise use your Proficiency Bonus.
- Bard SubclassLevel 3
You gain a Bard subclass. As a College of Lore Bard, you gain proficiency with three skills of your choice.
- TraitElfDarkvision 60 ft.
- TraitElfElven Lineage, Drow, you know the Dancing Lights cantrip, and at level 3 you always have Faerie Fire prepared. You can cast the level 3 spell once without a spell slot, and you regain that ability when you finish a Long Rest.
- TraitElfFey Ancestry, you have Advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the Charmed condition.
- TraitElfKeen Senses, you gain proficiency in Insight, Perception, or Survival. Gelberi uses this to gain Perception proficiency.
- TraitElfTrance, you do not need to sleep and can finish a Long Rest in 4 hours of trancelike meditation.
- Shelter of the FaithfulAcolyte

Appearance
Gelberi is a dark-skinned drow elf with long, wavy, flowing purple hair and kind pink eyes. She dresses in a priestess's habit, long modest flowy robes layered for movement, with bracelets, ankle bracelets, and a bell-strung belt that chime softly whenever she dances. Her expression is gentle and attentive, and her movements are disciplined, graceful, and devotional, like every step is part of a prayer.
Mannerisms
Gelberi communicates with precise, elegant dance gestures, often answering with a small sequence of steps before anyone notices she has spoken at all. She touches her bells before entering a room, as if asking permission to bring music into it. When worried, she rocks on her heels in time with an unheard hymn, and when relieved, her whole body softens into a flowing devotional sway.
Personality
Patient, compassionate, and ceremonially disciplined, Gelberi treats every person as if they are already under divine protection. She is quietly joyful in sacred spaces, but fierce and unyielding when someone threatens the vulnerable. Though she cannot speak, she is attentive, expressive, and surprisingly humorous in the precise language of timing, posture, and dance.
Ideals
Mercy and sanctuary are sacred duties. The strong exist to defend the weak, the faithful must shelter the hunted, and joy itself can be an act of resistance against cruelty.
Bonds
The temple of Seekori is her home, her family, and her first true refuge. She will do anything to protect the worshipers, refugees, and children who gather beneath Elbog's mercy. She also carries a fierce gratitude toward the paladins who rescued the Tanzinians, and she quietly vows that no one in her care will ever be taken from sanctuary again.
Flaws
Gelberi trusts institutions of faith too quickly and assumes holiness always protects the innocent, even when it sometimes fails them. She is so committed to vows and discipline that she can neglect her own needs, refusing rest, comfort, or praise. When she is frightened, she becomes even more silent and rigid, clinging to ritual like a shield, and she may struggle to forgive those who mock her sacred dance or treat suffering as entertainment.
Quirks
Background
Gelberi was born among the Tanzinians, a people who speak with dance and music of the body rather than spoken words. In her earliest memories, every greeting was a turn of the heel, every promise a lifted hand, every prayer a pattern traced in dust. She never learned speech, and she never needed to, because her people had a language older than empires and more honest than lies. When slavers and raiders came for her kin, seeking to turn Tanzinian lives into spectacle, she watched rescue arrive instead in the white-and-gold steel of Seekorian paladins, champions of Elbog who cut the chains and carried the survivors to safety. In Seekori, Gelberi found not only sanctuary, but vocation. She embraced the temple as a devoted priestess, taking a chastity vow and offering her life to care, faith, and celebration. She leads festivals, rites, and communal worship with dances that teach, soothe, and embolden. Though she carries no instrument, her bracelets, anklets, and bell-belt become her choir in battle, singing with each step as she inspires allies and honors Elbog. Her bardic art is not performance for pride, but devotion made visible, a sacred rhythm that reminds the oppressed they are still alive, still beloved, and still worth saving.
