Appearance
Pulitzer is a mountain of a man with skin like polished granite and eyes that sparkle with mischief. He keeps his physique in peak condition, often oiling his muscles before a fight. He wears little armor, opting for leather straps and a red gladiator cape that catches the wind dramatically. His smile is pearly white and perfectly framed by his strong jawline.
Mannerisms
He often winks at strangers and tends to speak in a booming, theatrical voice as if he is being projected to the back row of an arena.
Personality
I am a performer at heart and I find that the battlefield is the ultimate stage. I love the roar of a crowd and the gasps of my companions when I flex my pectorals. Despite my vanity, I am genuinely friendly and enjoy the company of anyone who appreciates fine art, specifically the art of my own muscles.
Ideals
Showmanship. A victory is empty if no one is watching to see how good I looked doing it.
Bonds
I carry a golden medallion given to me by my first fan, and I will never let it be tarnished.
Flaws
I am incapable of passing a reflective surface without stopping to adjust my hair or check my muscle definition.

Background
Born in the high peaks of the Cloud Peaks, Pulitzer originally trained as a stone carver with his kin. However, the silent labor of the forge bored him, and he soon found himself enlisted in a mercenary company where his size made him an instant asset. During a chaotic border war, he was captured and sold to the fighting pits of a Southern city. Instead of falling into despair, Pulitzer embraced the life of a gladiator. He realized that if he looked good while winning, the crowd would scream his name. He reinvented himself as the dazzling champion, Pulitzer Doofybooty. After winning his freedom through a series of spectacular bouts, he now travels the world to find adventure worthy of a headline. He views every quest as a potential saga and every monster as a chance to show off his form. Though he acts like a preening peacock, his time in the pits gave him a core of steel and a fierce loyalty to his teammates.
