- Conquering PresenceLevel 3
When As an action, once per short or long rest

Korran can sense the presence of strong celestial, fiendish, or undead creatures within 60 feet, as well as consecrated or desecrated places and objects, a limited number of times per long rest.
- Lay on HandsLevel 1

- Divine Sense and Lay on Hands ProficienciesLevel 1
Korran gains proficiency with all armor and shields, martial weapons, and simple weapons.
- Fighting Style, DefenseLevel 2

- Divine SmiteLevel 2
When Korran hits with a melee weapon attack, he can expend a spell slot to deal radiant damage in addition to the weapon's damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 1st-level slot, plus 1d8 for each slot level above first, to a maximum of 5d8, with an additional 1d8 against undead or fiends.

Appearance
A massive goliath man standing nearly eight feet tall, with slate-gray skin marked by dark natural birthmarks across his shoulders and jaw. He keeps his black hair braided tightly against his scalp and wears a square iron beard clasp engraved with the seal of Goldhaven. His eyes are pale blue and watchful, his nose has been broken twice, and his chain mail is polished more carefully than his ceremonial cloak. A heavy shield bears the insignia of the city watch, painted over an older symbol that has been deliberately scratched away.
Mannerisms
Korran speaks in clipped commands and rarely uses a person's name when a rank or title will do. He stands perfectly still while others talk, taps two fingers against his shield when considering a verdict, and cleans his gauntlets whenever he has decided that someone must be punished.
Personality
Korran is disciplined, patient, and unnervingly calm. He remembers every law, infraction, and favor owed to him. He respects people who obey their duties, regardless of their birth, but he has little patience for those who appeal to sentiment instead of authority. In private, he is almost gentle with wounded soldiers and exhausted street children, though he disguises these acts as investments in Goldhaven's future.
Ideals
Order. A peaceful society is worth any price, and those who refuse the price must be made to pay it.
Bonds
Goldhaven is his charge, and he will destroy anyone who threatens its stability, including members of the watch who fail him. He also keeps the cracked prayer medallion of the acolyte who first taught him that fear can be made into a civic virtue.
Flaws
He believes fear is more reliable than trust and treats compassion as a weakness that must be hidden. He cannot tolerate public defiance, even when obedience would be morally wrong, and he is willing to ruin innocent lives if doing so preserves his authority.
Quirks
Background
Korran Stonewatch was born among the high crags where his people measured worth by endurance, duty, and the ability to stand firm when others could not. He left his mountain clan after witnessing a bitter feud consume two families, convinced that only a strict authority could prevent civilization from collapsing into grievance and bloodshed. In Goldhaven, he found employment as a temple guard, then became an acolyte of a severe god of law and conquest. The priesthood taught him that mercy without control was merely another form of negligence, and Korran embraced the lesson completely. Over the years, Korran rose through the city watch by crushing smuggling rings, suppressing riots, and making examples of officials who accepted bribes. He now commands the Goldhaven city watch, maintaining peace through surveillance, intimidation, and swift punishment. His divine oath is not one of protection for its own sake. It is a vow to impose order so absolute that rebellion becomes unthinkable. To the merchants, nobles, and frightened citizens who benefit from his efficiency, he is a necessary bulwark. To those who have faced his interrogations, he is the iron fist of a city that has forgotten the difference between safety and obedience.
