Appearance
A lean half-elf with an easy grin, a shock of dark hair usually tied back with a ribbon, and bright, restless eyes that are always scanning for applause or an exit. He dresses like he is halfway between a stage and a street corner, with a slightly battered entertainer's vest, a jaunty sash, and well-worn boots built for both dancing and running. His lute is polished where it matters most, the rest of him looks like it has seen too many taverns and not enough sleep.
Mannerisms
He speaks like everything is a punchline waiting for a drumroll. He flourishes his hands while talking, bows after especially good insults, and unconsciously taps rhythms on tables, mugs, and doorframes. When nervous, he hums under his breath as though the next entrance cue might save him.
Personality
Outwardly, he is charming, witty, and impossible to embarrass for long. He treats strangers like potential fans and problems like opportunities for a memorable entrance. Underneath the grin is a hustler's instinct, a boy who learned that being entertaining is sometimes the quickest way to stay fed, stay free, and stay one step ahead of humiliation.
Ideals
Fame. If the world is going to remember him, it will be for something unforgettable, and he intends to make every opportunity count.
Bonds
He keeps his old lute polished like a relic, because it was the last gift from the parent who believed he could still amount to something great. He is determined to become famous enough that the name of his failed college will have to be spoken in the same breath as his.
Flaws
He cannot resist an audience, a wager, or the chance to turn a serious moment into a performance. When he feels dismissed, he gets petty fast, and he will sometimes chase applause even when prudence would be the better choice.
Quirks
Background
He was born to a wandering human fiddle-player and an elven singer who treated every campfire like a grand hall. From them he inherited the elf's grace and the human's appetite for attention, along with an inconvenient certainty that the world was made to watch him. He entered bard college with genuine talent and an even greater sense of destiny, convinced he would become the next legendary name whispered in courts and taverns alike. The problem was discipline. Lectures were skipped for parties, recitals were ruined by improvised jokes, and examinations were answered with flair instead of facts. By the time the faculty finally threw him out, he had earned a reputation as both a dazzling performer and an academic disaster. Now he drifts from small tavern to quick side job, taking whatever pays in coin, drinks, or opportunity, all while nursing one bright, stubborn dream, to claw his way back into the spotlight and prove that fame was never beyond his reach, only delayed.
