Appearance
Sigrid is a tall, imposing Half-Orc with slate-grey skin and long, braided black hair tied back with leather thongs. She wears heavy chain mail over rugged wolf furs and bears bright blue woad tattoos across her face that resemble jagged lightning strikes. Her eyes are a striking, pale blue that seems to crackle when she channels her divine power. She carries a massive iron warhammer that is etched with deep, ancient Norse runes and a shield depicting a thrashing sea serpent.
Mannerisms
She constantly tests the wind with a wet finger and speaks with a deep, booming voice that sounds like distant thunder.
Personality
Sigrid is as boisterous as a coastal gale and twice as destructive. She views life as a series of tests presented by the Storm, and she meets every challenge with a defiant roar and a raised hammer. She is intensely loyal to those she calls her pack but has little patience for the soft diplomacies of the southern kingdoms. To Sigrid, a man's worth is measured by his actions in a squall, not his titles or his gold.
Ideals
Retribution. The only way to honor the dead is to finish the fight they started. The scales of justice must be balanced with thunder and steel.
Bonds
My hammer was forged from the keel of my father's sunken ship. It is my only connection to my past, and I would sooner die than lose it.
Flaws
I am prone to fits of destructive rage. When the thunder starts rolling, I often lose sight of the line between a necessary fight and total slaughter.

Background
Born into the Valhalla Vengeance clan, Sigrid was raised on the deck of longships and the edge of the world. Her clan lived by a simple creed, that blood spilt in honor was the only currency accepted at the gates of the afterlife. This life of raiding was shattered when a rival sorcerer summoned a tidal wave that swallowed her village and killed her kin. As the water filled her lungs, Sigrid did not pray for salvation, she prayed for the power to strike back. The Storm Lord answered her call, granting her the fury of the waves and the reach of the lightning. Now, Sigrid wanders the coastlines as the lone survivor of the Vengeance. She tracks the sorcerer responsible for her clan's demise, intending to offer his soul to the deep as a final blood sacrifice for her fallen family. Her hammer strikes not just for herself, but for every ghost of the Valhalla Vengeance that marches behind her.
