Appearance
Myrion is a slender high elf with silver-gold hair worn long and unbound, pale skin, and eyes like bright green glass that rarely soften at rest. He dresses in practical temple vestments over a chain shirt, with a polished shield, a simple mace, and a holy symbol of Lathander kept visible rather than hidden. His beauty is tempered by hardship, a faint scar along the jaw, watchful posture, and the quiet exhaustion of someone who has learned to sleep lightly and trust even less.
Mannerisms
He speaks softly in temples, but his voice sharpens instantly when he hears cruelty or contempt. When unsettled, he rubs his thumb over the edge of his holy symbol or straightens other people's bandages and collars without asking. He often pauses after mentioning the gods, as though testing whether the words still taste like faith or only habit.
Personality
Quietly compassionate but difficult to impress, Myrion is courteous to the suffering and suspicious of the comfortable. He helps first and asks questions later, yet he rarely offers trust freely. He is not a believer in divine benevolence, only in acts of benevolence, which makes him patient with ordinary people and blisteringly impatient with anyone who uses holiness as an excuse for inaction.
Ideals
Compassion. The powerless deserve protection whether or not the heavens care. Myrion believes mercy is most meaningful when it is chosen by mortals who know suffering, and that light is proved by action, not prayer.
Bonds
The high priest who rescued him gave Myrion a second life, and he would cross the world to repay that mercy or protect the Church that shelter him. He also carries the memory of his murdered enclave as an open wound, and he cannot rest until he learns who ordered the slaughter and whether anyone from his people survived.
Flaws
Myrion mistrusts miracles and authority in equal measure, and when pressed he can become cold, mocking, or recklessly defiant. He sometimes treats the gods as if they are on trial, which makes him difficult to comfort and even harder to persuade. Beneath that anger is a worse flaw, he still measures every kindness against the horrors that came before, and he is tempted to believe that if he cannot save everyone, then saving anyone at all is a lie.

Background
Myrion was born in a secluded high elven enclave, hidden beneath ancient boughs and wrapped in traditions old enough to seem eternal. His people guarded an artifact spoken of only in legend, a relic said to hold the secret of everlasting life. Whether the story was true mattered less than the fact that others believed it was. One night, mercenaries and zealots came in force, and by cruel chance Myrion was not at home to die beside his family. He returned to fire, blood, and silence. In the days that followed, hunger and terror drove him onto the old roads, where hope failed again when a caravan he approached for aid revealed itself to be a slaver train. His name was stripped away, his dignity reduced to work and obedience, and for years his prayers vanished into nothing. Freedom came from mortal hands, not divine ones. A high priest of Lathander shattered the slavers' operation and offered the freed survivors food, shelter, and the scandalous luxury of being treated as people. Myrion stayed with the Church out of gratitude more than belief. He learned healing rites, temple discipline, and the habit of standing between the vulnerable and those who would prey on them. He serves the Morninglord because the faithful answered when the heavens did not. If the gods exist, he has not forgiven them for their silence. Still, he will carry their light into dark places, not as worship, but as a promise made to the wounded and the abandoned, that someone will answer when they cry out.
