Darrian is a man of lithe, athletic build with vibrant copper-red hair that he keeps tied back in a short tail. He wears a set of reinforced leather armor over a tunic dyed in faded greens and golds. His most striking feature is the sly, fox-like grin he wears, even when facing danger. He often wears a small, stylized fox mask perched on the side of his head or hanging from his belt when not performing.

Darrian is naturally charismatic and moves with the practiced grace of a seasoned performer. He treats every combat encounter as a stage, often quipping and engaging in banter to throw his opponents off balance. He is quick to offer a story or a song in exchange for information or a warm meal, preferring charm over force whenever possible.

Darrian spent his youth as a tumbler and mock-fencer in the Traveling Troupe of Curiosities. He earned the stage name The Fox for his ability to weave through crowds and escape any staged predicament with a flourish. His life changed when a corrupt magistrate accused his troupe of smuggling to justify seizing their earnings. To protect his found family, Darrian stood his ground and realized that his theatrical training had given him the reflexes and strength of a true warrior. He left the stage to put his skills to use as a mercenary. He travels the world seeking to earn enough gold to pay off his troupe's fabricated debts and clear their names. Every arrow he fires and every strike of his rapier is done with the intent of reclaiming the freedom his family lost. Though he now kills for coin, he never forgets the lessons of the stage, remaining a man who values the truth hidden within a good performance.
