Appearance
Stark white skin and silver-white undercut hair frame a largely featureless face, with over-large blank white eyes ringed in dark shadows and only the faintest suggestion of nose and mouth. Serriah presents as feminine, with a slender, striking silhouette, and favors ordinary modern high fantasy streetwear, a grey hoodie sweatshirt and black cargo pants. Their presence is unsettling, polished, and deliberately controlled, with the calm poise of someone who knows exactly how to be looked at.
Mannerisms
Speaks with an almost lazy, velvet calm even when angry, then punctuates sharp threats with a bright, practiced smile. When thinking, Serriah tilts their head and taps two fingers against their wrist as if marking tempo. In crowded rooms they never sit with their back to a door, and they tend to circle people once before deciding whether to charm them or flatten them.
Personality
Serriah is composed, cutting, and performatively gracious, even when they are one insult away from a fight. They enjoy attention on their own terms, and they can be dazzlingly warm to people who respect boundaries. In private, they are dry, observant, and unexpectedly tender toward underdogs, runaways, and anyone who has been made into gossip by cruel people.
Ideals
Autonomy. My body, my face, my voice, and my name belong to me alone. I will never let anyone turn me into a possession, a prop, or a secret I did not choose to share.
Bonds
Serriah keeps a private ledger of every person who ever treated them like a person instead of a product, and they repay kindness with frightening loyalty. They are also fiercely attached to the small circle of clients, rivals, and fellow performers who know their real name and never use it as a joke. Their freedom matters, because they fought too hard to be owned by anyone.
Flaws
Serriah has trouble trusting anyone who seems too fascinated by them too quickly, because admiration often hides hunger. They can be reckless when their pride is challenged, and they sometimes choose the most theatrical response even when the simplest one would be safer. Beneath their composure lies a deep fear of being ordinary, forgotten, or reduced to a body someone else thinks they have the right to judge.
Quirks
Background
Serriah learned early that a face could be a mask, a weapon, or a payment. Born among changelings who treated identity like weather, they grew fascinated with human applause, the way a room could tilt toward a voice, a pose, or a well-timed smile. When they left home, they found that beauty was not the same as safety, and attention was not the same as affection. So Serriah refined both into tools. They became a glamour bard who could walk into a court as a stranger and leave as the most discussed person in the city, then vanish into the night before the gossip turned sharp. But the stage was never enough. The first time a drunk tried to grab them backstage, Serriah hit back and discovered that rhythm lived in fists as well as music. Back alley brawls, protection work, and the hard economics of surviving as a desired object taught them a second craft, the art of turning contempt into leverage. Their reputation grew into something sly and dangerous, a performer, model, escort, and problem solver whose smile could dazzle a noble while their knuckles broke a thug's pride. Now Serriah travels in plain clothes, not armor, wrapped in a hoodie and the chill confidence of someone who has survived being underestimated far too many times.
