Appearance
Sir, Monkey is a powerfully built human man with a disciplined soldier's posture and an unnerving stillness. His close-cropped black hair is threaded with silver, and his dark eyes remain fixed and attentive even during casual conversation. He wears well-maintained chain mail beneath a red and white surcoat bearing the austere emblem of his knightly order. His voice is deep and carefully measured, while his breathing is slow and audible through his nose. When anger takes hold, the measured cadence vanishes, his breath becomes harsh and rapid, and every nearby object seems to fall within the space he unconsciously claims.
Mannerisms
He stands too close during serious conversations, as though every exchange were a battlefield briefing. He counts his breaths before answering difficult questions, touches two fingers to his order's insignia when invoking a vow, and lowers his voice rather than raising it when he is most furious.
Personality
He is formal, restrained, and unfailingly direct. Sir, Monkey listens to every side of a dispute, but once he has judged the facts, he expects the decision to be carried out without complaint. He shows affection through preparation, repairing equipment, assigning watches, and placing himself between danger and everyone else. His calm is genuine, but it is also a locked gate holding back a tremendous rage.
Ideals
Order. Laws are the walls that keep the strong from preying on the weak. If a law is unjust, it must be confronted openly and replaced, not quietly ignored.
Bonds
The surviving soldiers of his old company are his family. He will risk everything to protect their names, livelihoods, and descendants, and he intends to expose the commanders who sacrificed them for political convenience.
Flaws
He mistakes self-control for moral superiority and becomes frighteningly judgmental when others break rules he considers obvious. When enraged, he stops listening, speaks in clipped commands, and is dangerously willing to decide that immediate violence is the cleanest form of justice.

Background
Born to an ordinary human family on the edge of a prosperous kingdom, Sir, Monkey entered military service young because the law promised a shape to the world. He found purpose among the knights templar, whose vows joined battlefield discipline with sacred justice. He rose through the ranks not because he was gentle, but because he was dependable. He memorized codes, court procedures, marching schedules, and the names of every soldier placed under his command. His absolute physical perfection became less important to him than the belief that strength existed to enforce duty, not indulge pride. During a campaign against a rebellious warlord, Sir, Monkey discovered that several of his superiors had manipulated the law to justify atrocities. He obeyed until obedience would have made him complicit, then turned his sword against his own commander's plan and led the surviving soldiers to safety. The order branded him troublesome rather than treacherous, but could not deny the lives he saved. Now he travels as a knight without a permanent garrison, pursuing criminals, monsters, and corrupt authorities alike. His rage is immense, disciplined, and always waiting beneath the surface. He fears that one day the fury will become more honest to him than the law he swore to serve.
