Appearance
Silas is a man of alarming fragility, with skin as pale as parchment and limbs like brittle dry sticks. His most striking feature is his eyes, which are a deep, shimmering indigo and appear to track events moments before they happen. He is draped in heavy, layered robes of velvet and silk that hide his skeletal frame.
Mannerisms
Silas frequently stares over people's shoulders as if watching a ghost, and he has a habit of checking his pulse whenever he feels a particularly strong magical vibration.
Personality
Silas is quiet, gentle, and profoundly empathetic. Because he often sees the suffering of others in his visions before it happens, he carries a deep sense of sorrow and urgency. He speaks in a soft, airy whisper as if he is afraid the vibrations of his own voice might shatter his delicate body.
Ideals
Knowledge must be used to better the lives of the innocent. Information is a tool for liberation, never for control.
Bonds
I carry the letter of my late mentor, whose final question about the nature of time remains unanswered. I seek the truth for him.
Flaws
My physical frailty is a constant burden. I often trust my visions more than the reality standing right in front of me.

Background
Born with a constitution so weak he was not expected to survive childhood, Silas spent his youth in the archives of a great seaside library. He realized early on that while his body was a cage, his mind was a window. He could not run with the other children, but he could see the flight of birds through the eyes of the wind. This sensitivity eventually manifested as a talent for Divination, allowing him to pull back the veil of the present to peer into the shifting possibilities of the future. After decades of isolation, a vision of a coming darkness drove him out of his study and into the world. He knows he is not built for the rigors of travel, yet he believes the truth is a light that must be carried into the dark corners of the world regardless of the personal cost. He travels now to find the heroes who will prevent the tragedies he has seen in his dreams, offering himself as their guide and eyes.
“He realized early on that while his body was a cage, his mind was a window.”
