- Poison Breath
When As an action

Nick transforms into a beast he has seen, using one of two Wild Shape uses. The form lasts up to 1 hour, until he reverts, or until reduced to 0 hit points in beast form.
- DruidicLevel 1
Nick knows the secret language of druids. He can leave hidden messages in natural surroundings that only other druids automatically recognize, and he can identify such messages when encountered.
- SpellcastingLevel 1
Nick is a 3rd-level spellcaster. Wisdom is his spellcasting ability. He can use a druidic focus as a spellcasting focus for his druid spells.
- Druid Circle, Circle of the LandLevel 2
Nick has chosen the Circle of the Land, gaining additional spells tied to a chosen natural environment and the Natural Recovery feature.
- Natural RecoveryLevel 2
Once per day during a short rest, Nick can recover expended spell slots with a combined level of up to 2. He can recover one 2nd-level slot or two 1st-level slots.
- Circle Spells, ForestLevel 3
Nick has the Forest circle spell list. These spells are always prepared and do not count against the number of druid spells he can prepare: barkskin and spider climb.
- Breath WeaponLevel 1
Nick can exhale a 15-foot cone of poisonous gas. Each creature in the area must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 2d6 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. After using this trait, he cannot use it again until he finishes a short or long rest.
- Damage ResistanceLevel 1
Nick has resistance to poison damage.

Appearance
Sticky Nick is a broad-shouldered green dragonborn with poison-green scales, a cream-colored throat, and a blunt crown of swept-back horns. His scales are dulled by years of rain, campfire smoke, and travel, with pale salt lines often visible around his shoulders after a long day outdoors. He stands with his weight settled evenly over both feet, perfectly still when waiting, as though listening for movement beneath the soil. He wears weathered leather armor beneath a moss-colored cloak, carries a wooden shield marked with concentric tree rings, and keeps his druidic focus in a pouch that smells strongly of pine resin and crushed herbs.
Mannerisms
Nick goes completely motionless when concentrating, then abruptly resumes moving as if he had never paused. He rolls small objects between his claws while thinking, smells unfamiliar food before eating it, and often answers questions by first glancing toward the nearest plant or patch of open ground.
Personality
Nick is patient, observant, and relentlessly helpful in practical ways. He would rather repair a stranger's boots, find their drinking water, or quietly stand watch than offer a dramatic speech. He has a dry sense of humor and treats nearly every problem as something that can be solved with shelter, food, time, and a better understanding of what is actually happening.
Ideals
Balance. The wild does not need to be conquered or worshiped. It needs to be understood, defended when threatened, and left room to recover.
Bonds
He carries a wooden shield carved from the fallen heartwood of the first tree that sheltered his clan during a deadly flood. Nick believes the tree saved lives so that he could one day repay the favor by protecting wild places and the people who depend on them.
Flaws
Nick is too willing to trust anything that claims to be natural, including predators, parasites, suspicious mushrooms, and people who call themselves the voice of the forest. He also becomes stubborn and evasive when someone suggests that civilization might solve a problem faster than he can.
Quirks
Background
Sticky Nick was hatched in a river-valley clan that prized practical kindness over ceremony. His clutchmates learned to hunt and fight, but Nick became fascinated by the small signs everyone else overlooked, a bent reed, a patch of disturbed mud, the sudden silence of insects before a storm. An aging druid named Moss-Under-Rain took him beyond the clan’s hunting grounds and taught him that the wild was not an obstacle between settlements. It was a living community, full of debts, warnings, and second chances. Nick’s habit of tasting tree sap, mud, and unfamiliar mushrooms earned him his nickname after one particularly memorable encounter with a pine tree.
