Appearance
Amorette is a striking half-elf with sun-bronzed skin and wild, copper-colored hair tied back with leather thongs. She stands tall with an athletic build, her eyes reflecting the amber hue of a forest at dusk. She wears rugged travel leathers adorned with bird feathers and small trinkets carved from bone, and her viol is strapped securely to her pack, protected by a waterproof oilskin wrap.
Mannerisms
She tends to crouch rather than sit on chairs and maintains intense, unblinking eye contact during serious conversations.
Personality
Amorette is fiercely independent and speaks with a bluntness that often surprises those accustomed to courtly manners. She finds humor in the absurdity of civilization and prefers the company of beasts or the open road to a crowded tavern. She is quick to laugh but just as quick to draw her blade if she senses someone trying to restrict her freedom.
Ideals
Freedom. I believe that people should be free to live their lives as they choose, without the interference of kings or laws. Chains are meant to be broken.
Bonds
I carry a bear claw trophy from a beast that nearly took my life, it serves as a reminder that nature is the ultimate judge. I will always protect the remaining wild spaces from those who would tarnish them for profit.
Flaws
I am suspicious of anyone who is too polite, and I have a habit of insulting people of high status just to see how they react.
Quirks
Background
Born of a forbidden tryst between a wandering human tribal leader and a high-elven cartographer, Amorette never found a permanent home in either world. She spent her early years on the move, learning the secrets of the wood and the rhythm of the seasons. Her elven blood gave her a natural affinity for the arts, but she rejected the structured songs of her mother's kin in favor of the raw, dissonant melodies of the wilderness. To her, music is a tool for survival and a way to channel the primal energy of the world around her. She took up the viol to mimic the howling of wolves and the sighing of the wind, using her performances to bridge the gap between the civil and the savage. After a dispute with a local magistrate who tried to tax her wanderings, she realized that the world beyond the forests was encroaching on her freedom, and she now seeks adventure to stay one step ahead of the law while uncovering ancient songs lost to time.
“She spent her early years on the move, learning the secrets of the wood and the rhythm of the seasons.”
