- Pact MagicLevel 1

- Otherworldly PatronLevel 1
Sivash's patron is the Great Old One, Nyx, an immense intelligence associated with the space between thoughts and the darkness beyond mortal perception. Appearance
Sivash is a slender tiefling with deep burgundy skin, swept-back black horns, and long dark hair usually tied low at the nape. Their eyes are a muted gold, steady and appraising rather than theatrical. They dress in practical dark robes beneath a well-kept leather coat, with a small silver-black holy symbol of Nyx hidden among the clasps. Sivash occupies slightly more space than expected, standing very still and making others unconsciously adjust around them. They repeatedly check the position of their holy symbol with two fingers, especially when lying.
Mannerisms
Sivash speaks softly and precisely, often pausing for one breath before answering as if selecting the safest version of the truth. They stand unnervingly close during private conversations, then step back exactly one pace when someone notices. Their fingers frequently check the hidden holy symbol at their throat.
Personality
Sivash is observant, controlled, and unfailingly polite, with a habit of making every conversation feel like an interview. They prefer useful people to likable people and tend to praise competence more warmly than kindness. Despite their coldness, they are genuinely fascinated by the private motives of others and collect small behavioral details the way another person might collect coins.
Ideals
Order. Secrets become useful only when placed in disciplined hands. The world is safest when those with the clearest vision control what everyone else is allowed to know.
Bonds
The hidden temple of Nyx gave Sivash purpose, education, and a place in the world. They will protect its secrets even from allies, and they quietly maintain a list of people who could be useful when the temple eventually needs rescuing or avenging.
Flaws
Sivash treats trust as a weakness that must be managed rather than a gift that can be accepted. They are willing to betray almost anyone if the result serves Nyx or preserves their position inside the corporation. They also mistake emotional distance for discipline and become quietly contemptuous when others act from compassion.
Quirks
Background
Sivash was raised in a respectable temple that publicly taught restraint, order, and the careful tending of sacred darkness. Privately, the temple served Nyx, not as a goddess of simple night, but as the keeper of hidden roads, concealed intentions, and truths that became dangerous when spoken aloud. Sivash learned early that devotion was not measured by loud prayer. It was measured by what one was willing to protect, conceal, and sacrifice. Their gift for listening without appearing to listen drew the attention of the temple's senior priest, who arranged for Sivash to study forbidden invocations beneath the sanctuary.
“Sivash learned early that devotion was not measured by loud prayer.”
