Appearance
Keti is a lean, weather-hardened aasimar woman with bronze-brown skin, close-cropped black hair, and pale gold eyes that seem brighter in darkness. A faint celestial radiance shows beneath her skin when she is angry or afraid. She wears practical travel clothes beneath a sleeveless monk's wrap, with red thread braided around one wrist as a reminder of her mountain home. Her movements are economical and watchful, shaped by years of climbing, hunting, and disciplined martial training.
Mannerisms
Keti rarely stands with both feet flat, preferring to balance on the balls of her feet as if on a mountain ledge. She checks exits whenever she enters a room, rolls her shoulders before speaking seriously, and touches the red thread on her wrist when making a promise.
Personality
Keti is observant, dryly humorous, and fiercely protective of anyone who is smaller, weaker, or being ignored. She speaks plainly and dislikes ceremony, but she notices small details others miss, especially changes in weather, tracks, and people's breathing. Her kindness is practical. She repairs a companion's boot, shares the better portion of her meal, or silently takes the dangerous watch.
Ideals
Freedom. No one should be trapped by fear, custom, or another person's authority. The right path is the one that leaves people more able to choose their own lives.
Bonds
The people of her mountain valley trusted her once, and she will return when she is strong enough to make sure no one can threaten them again. She carries a small strip of dyed wool from the village shrine and refuses to let it be taken from her.
Flaws
Keti assumes that anyone who offers easy comfort is hiding a demand. She also has little patience for people who complain about hardship while refusing to learn from it. When cornered emotionally, she becomes sharp, silent, and impossible to reach.
Quirks
Background
Keti was born in a high valley where shepherds marked the seasons by the color of the snow and the position of the stars. Her aasimar heritage was treated neither as a blessing nor a curse, but as an inconvenient fact, something to be respected from a distance. When raiders burned the valley's winter stores, Keti led a handful of children and elders through a blizzard using old hunting paths known only to her family. They survived, but the village never fully recovered, and Keti left soon afterward, convinced that knowing how to endure was not enough. Someone also had to learn how to stop the people who made others endure.
