Appearance
Shokazzar is a tall, slender Sapphire Dragonborn with scales the color of deep ocean water. His eyes glow with a soft, psionic light that matches the large sapphire atop his staff. He moves with a liquid grace, wearing shimmering silver robes that reflect his dual heritage. Despite his draconic features, his expression is one of calm, detached meditation.
Mannerisms
He constantly rubs the sapphire on his staff when he is listening to someone. He blinks very slowly, sometimes waiting minutes between blinks.
Personality
He is a seeker of truth who speaks with a measured, rhythmic cadence. He views the world as a series of mental ripples and often responds to questions with deep, philosophical inquiries rather than direct answers. He remains stoic in the face of chaos, believing that all events are part of a greater psionic resonance.
Ideals
Clarity. The pursuit of truth and the removal of mental fog is the highest calling. Knowledge must be recorded and shared for the betterment of all.
Bonds
My staff was gifted by my draconic parent. It is my tether to the physical world and my focus for the spiritual one. I must protect the ancient scrolls of my home temple.
Flaws
I often find myself observing events rather than acting on them. My detachment can sometimes be mistaken for coldness or apathy toward the suffering of others.

Background
Born of a unique union between a Sapphire dragon and a high-ranking acolyte of the Silver Flame, Shokazzar was destined to bridge the gap between the divine and the mental planes. He spent his youth in submerged temples, mastering the art of underwater meditation while his mind drifted through the Astral sea. This upbringing allowed him to tap into the dormant psionic power within his sapphire blood, channeling it through his faith in the gods of knowledge. He serves as a wandering mystic, sent by his temple to document the lost secrets of the world. He believes that knowledge is the only true form of holiness and that by understanding the underlying structure of reality, he can better protect it. His silver robes are a mark of his rank within the order, though he feels most at home when submerged in deep water or lost in deep thought.
