Appearance
Lavender skin, vivid purple hair, matching purple eyebrows, small swept-back horns, and bright red eyes. He wears a white waistcoat beneath a tailored red jacket, blue and green patterned trousers, a broad leather belt, and long black boots. A winding black tattoo covers his right arm, depicting musical notes becoming thorny vines. His slender tiefling tail curls around his ankle when he is nervous.
Mannerisms
He punctuates important statements with a small flourish of his fingers, as though conducting an invisible orchestra. When lying, he becomes intensely polite and adjusts the cuff of his right sleeve to cover the tattoo.
Personality
Mivano is theatrical, observant, and warmly irreverent. He treats strangers like potential collaborators in an unfinished play, remembers servants and street vendors by name, and uses humor to make tense situations feel survivable. Beneath the bright clothing and easy smiles, he is constantly measuring who has power, who is afraid, and who is being ignored.
Ideals
Freedom. No one should have to beg permission to tell the truth, make a living, or become someone unexpected.
Bonds
He carries his father's battered hand drum and refuses to sell it, believing its unfinished song will eventually lead him to the truth about his father's disappearance.
Flaws
He cannot resist humiliating someone who tries to use authority or wealth to bully others, even when patience and discretion would serve him better.

Background
Mivano Zareli was raised backstage in the Lantern Market, a crowded district where puppet theaters, gambling dens, and traveling musicians competed for every copper. His mother repaired costumes and his absent father was remembered only through a battered hand drum and a half-finished song. Mivano learned early that an audience cared less about the color of his skin or the shape of his horns when he gave them a story worth remembering. He developed a taste for bright clothes, dramatic entrances, and songs that made powerful people uncomfortable without giving them an excuse to draw steel. His life changed when he discovered that his arm tattoo was not merely decorative. The ink had been placed there by an aging street magician who claimed it would help Mivano remember every promise he made. After the magician disappeared, the tattoo began to darken whenever someone nearby was being coerced or cheated. Mivano now travels from town to town as a performer and quiet meddler, using charm, gossip, and carefully chosen magic to expose crooked officials and protect people who cannot afford heroes. He insists that he is only collecting material for his next great performance, although he keeps every rescued person's name written inside his lute case.
