Appearance
Kettar Vask is a broad-shouldered aasimar with copper-brown skin, close-cropped black hair, and pale silver eyes that brighten when his divine power stirs. A faint web of luminous marks runs from his temples down his neck, resembling cracks in storm-lit stone. He wears battered chain mail beneath a dark blue clerical mantle, carries a heavy mace and shield, and bears a bronze holy symbol shaped like a split thundercloud.
Mannerisms
Kettar speaks in a booming, measured voice and pauses as though expecting the room itself to answer. He points with his mace, addresses animals as if they are junior officers, and unconsciously turns his face toward distant thunder.
Personality
Kettar is commanding, theatrical, and fiercely self-assured. He treats every conversation like a council meeting and every disagreement like a challenge to legitimate rule. Beneath the arrogance is a genuine instinct to protect the vulnerable, though he prefers that gratitude be expressed in the form of obedience. He is quick to laugh at danger, slow to admit uncertainty, and almost reverent when confronted with a storm powerful enough to humble him.
Ideals
Authority. The world is safer when someone strong enough to command accepts responsibility for doing so. If the heavens gave me power, I will not apologize for using it.
Bonds
My family name must never be erased, even if I must rebuild its reputation from ruin. I also owe my life to the village whose survivors taught me that power without restraint is only another form of cowardice.
Flaws
I mistake disagreement for rebellion and often escalate a minor insult into a public confrontation. I am terrified that my divine power is not obedience from the heavens, but a storm inside me that will eventually break free.

Background
Kettar Vask was born into a minor noble household whose estates sat beneath a mountain pass known for sudden, violent storms. His celestial heritage announced itself during a childhood dispute, when thunder rolled through a cloudless sky and every candle in the hall flared blue. His family treated the event as a sign that their bloodline had been chosen for greatness. Kettar believed them, but he never learned the difference between authority and entitlement. Tutors taught him law, heraldry, and the careful language of command. His own voice grew louder than all of them combined. He found the priesthood after a disastrous hunt in which his anger summoned a storm that killed three retainers and destroyed a village bridge. The clerics of Talos, god of storms and destruction, did not ask him to become gentle. They taught him to become deliberate. Kettar embraced their doctrine with dangerous enthusiasm, taking the thunder in his blood as proof that the heavens themselves answered him. He now travels as a noble emissary, divine champion, and walking warning. He protects those who acknowledge his rule, challenges anyone who questions it, and secretly fears that his storms do not obey his mood at all, but merely wait for the day he loses control completely.
