Utzi is a small, wirey kobold with brilliant bronze scales that catch the light like burnished metal. He wears a tattered, desert-brown poncho over a suit of darkened scale mail, and a wide-brimmed leather hat pulled low to protect his sensitive eyes. He carries two intricately machined metallic devices that resemble revolvers, both glowing faintly with sapphire Draconic runes.

Utzi is cold, analytical, and surprisingly well-spoken. He speaks with the cadence of a scholar but the intent of a hunter. He values efficiency above all else and rarely engages in the frantic yapping common to his kin. To Utzi, every problem is a calculation, and his magical revolvers are the solution to most variables.

Born to the Ironscale clan, Utzi was hailed as a future champion due to his rare bronze hue. However, he proved physically fragile, leading to ridicule from his peers. Recognizing his latent intellect, the Great Dragon Lord Arkanith took Utzi as a personal apprentice, teaching him the secrets of metallurgy and the ancient scriptures of Asgorath. While his clan saw him as a soft-scaled bookworm, the dragon saw a potential master of the World-Shaper's craft. When Utzi was sent away to the crags to harvest rare flux crystals, he expected to return to his dragon's praise. Instead, he returned to a smoldering crater where his mountain home once stood. Every kinsman was gone, every egg crushed. The scent of unknown dragon fire hung heavy in the air. Utzi did not weep. He sat among the ashes, gathered the scrap metal of his fallen brothers' shields, and forged Garl's Bane and Drakenfoe. He will not rest until he determines if his master was the victim or the perpetrator, and he will use every ounce of his superior mind to bring that dragon to its knees.
