Features
9 featuresAction
- Divine SenseLevel 1
As an action, Seshara can open her awareness to detect strong good or evil until the end of her next turn. She knows the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet that is not behind total cover, and she knows the type of any being sensed. She can use this feature a number of times equal to 1 plus her Charisma modifier, regaining all uses after a long rest. It does not detect alignment or reveal the identity of a creature.
- Lay on HandsLevel 1
Seshara's blessed touch can restore a total of 5 hit points per long rest. As an action, she can touch a creature and draw power from that pool to restore hit points, up to the remaining amount. She can also use 5 points from the pool to cure one disease or neutralize one poison affecting the target. Lay on Hands has no effect on undead or constructs when used to restore hit points.

When Once per short or long rest, after choosing to use an action
Seshara exhales a 15-foot cone of destructive energy. Each creature in the area must make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The damage type matches her draconic ancestry.
- Armed Strike
When When an enemy is within weapon range
Seshara can make a melee weapon attack with her longsword or a thrown attack with a javelin.

Appearance
Seshara is a tall brass-scaled dragonborn with a broad, disciplined posture and carefully maintained horns swept back from the crown of her head. Her scales carry muted bronze shading around the shoulders and throat, while a narrow blue sash marks her noble household. She wears well-fitted chain mail beneath a polished shield bearing her family's silver heron crest. Before speaking, she draws a quiet breath through her nose and briefly presses her tongue to the roof of her mouth, as though weighing every word. When waiting, she stands with both feet planted evenly and rests one hand over the pommel of her sword.
Mannerisms
She pauses for one measured breath before answering difficult questions, then speaks in a low, controlled voice with a faint rasp at the end of certain words. When listening, she angles her head slightly and keeps her shield arm still. In unfamiliar rooms, she quietly counts the exits before settling her weight evenly on both feet.
Personality
Seshara is composed, observant, and unfailingly courteous until someone abuses power. She remembers names, family connections, and small breaches of etiquette with unsettling accuracy. Though she presents herself as confident, she is secretly relieved whenever someone gives her a clear duty, because a defined obligation is easier for her to trust than her own uncertain future.
Ideals
Justice. A title is worthless if it cannot be used to defend those who have none. Law must serve the innocent rather than merely preserve the comfort of the powerful.
Bonds
The silver heron signet of my family is both a reminder of what I owe my house and proof that its honor can still be repaired. I will protect my younger brother, who believes the family name is beyond saving.
Flaws
I mistake hesitation for moral weakness, and I am too quick to confront people who prefer compromise to truth. I also fear that without my family's name, I would be ordinary, and that fear makes me cling too tightly to propriety.
Quirks
Background
Seshara was born into a dragonborn house whose wealth came from river tolls, fortified estates, and generations of service to a human duchy. Her family was respected for its reliability, but never entirely accepted as equal by the older noble lines. Seshara learned early that courtesy could conceal contempt, and that a family name was only as strong as the conduct of the person carrying it. Her tutors taught her history, heraldry, and the rituals of court, while an aging household guard taught her that a shield was not merely protection, but a promise that someone behind it would survive. When a dispute over forged toll records threatened to ruin her family's standing, Seshara discovered that several influential nobles had profited from the fraud. Her relatives urged silence, fearing scandal, but she testified before the duchy's magistrates and named every conspirator she could prove responsible. The house survived, though its reputation became complicated and Seshara's place within it grew uncertain. She left home with her family's signet, a sword, and a determination to serve justice beyond the reach of polite society. She now seeks worthy causes where her lineage can open doors, and where her oath can keep those doors from being used to shelter the corrupt.
