- God-Touched Strike

Always on
- Hack and Slash
When When you attack an enemy in melee.
When you attack an enemy in melee, roll+STR. On a 10+, you deal your damage to the enemy and avoid their attack. At your option, you may deal +1d6 damage but expose yourself to the enemy's attack. On a 7-9, you deal your damage to the enemy and the enemy makes an attack against you.
- Volley
When When you take aim and attack an enemy at range.
When you take aim and attack an enemy at range, roll+DEX. On a 10+, you deal your damage. On a 7-9, choose one: move to get the shot, placing yourself in danger; deal less damage, -1d6; or spend 1 ammunition. On a miss, the GM makes a move.
- Defy Danger
When When you act despite an imminent threat or suffer a calamity.
When you act despite an imminent threat or suffer a calamity, say how you deal with it and roll the appropriate ability. On a 10+, you do what you set out to do and avoid the threat. On a 7-9, you stumble, hesitate, or flinch, and the GM will offer you a worse outcome, hard bargain, or ugly choice.
- Defend
When When you stand in defense of a person, item, or location under attack.
When you stand in defense of a person, item, or location under attack, roll+CON. On a 10+, hold 3. On a 7-9, hold 1. While you defend, spend hold to choose an ally or object in your area of defense and redirect an attack to yourself, halve the attack's effect or damage, or open the attacker to an ally, giving that ally +1 forward against the attacker.
- Spout Lore
When When you consult your accumulated knowledge about something.
When you consult your accumulated knowledge about something, roll+INT. On a 10+, the GM will tell you something interesting and useful about the subject. On a 7-9, the GM will only tell you something interesting. On a miss, the GM may reveal a dangerous or misleading truth.
- Discern Realities
When When you closely study a situation or person.
When you closely study a situation or person, roll+WIS. On a 10+, ask the GM three questions from the list. On a 7-9, ask one. Take +1 forward when acting on the answers: What happened here recently? What is about to happen? What should I be on the lookout for? What here is not what it appears to be? What is the true position of my enemy? Who is really in control?
- Parley
When When you have leverage over a character and manipulate them.
When you have leverage over a character and manipulate them, roll+CHA. Leverage may be a promise, threat, or useful piece of information. On a 10+, they do what you ask if you promise something they want. On a 7-9, they do it, but first need concrete assurance of your promise.
- Divine Physique
When When your divine heritage grants physical power, endurance, or martial training.
You possess the blood of a god and the heart of a mortal. You have a d10 Hit Die, proficiency with all armor, shields, simple weapons, and martial weapons. Choose one skill from Athletics, Acrobatics, Intimidation, Medicine, Nature, or Perception. You are trained in that skill, represented here through your supernatural battlefield awareness.
- Divine Dominion
When When you claim the power of your divine lineage or spend Divine Force through your Dominion Gift.
Choose Earth as your Divine Dominion. You gain the Stonebind Dominion Gift and a pool of 2 Divine Force points. You regain all expended Divine Force points when you finish a long rest. Stonebind: when you empower a weapon hit with Divine Force, the target is struck by supernatural earth and is momentarily anchored, unable to move from its position until the start of your next turn unless it succeeds on a test of strength against the GM's stated danger.
- Divine Force
When When a Semi-Deus feature calls for Divine Force.
You can draw on a reserve of 2 Divine Force points. These points return after a long rest. At level 1, Divine Force can be spent on God-Touched Strike and other Semi-Deus abilities that require it.
- Roman Versatility
When When your human adaptability gives you training outside your divine class.
Choose one class move from another class that fits your mortal training or divine upbringing. Jason has learned the Fighter's Bend Bars, Lift Gates move.
- Imperial Allegiance
When When you invoke Perseus's authority while commanding or intimidating a mortal.
When you directly invoke Perseus's authority to command a mortal who recognizes imperial power, take +1 forward to Parley or Defy Danger, but on a miss the GM may reveal that your devotion has exposed your intentions.
- Bend Bars, Lift Gates
When When you use pure strength to bend metal, lift a gate, or break something.
When you use your immense strength to bend metal, lift a gate, or break something, roll+STR. On a 10+, choose two. On a 7-9, choose one: it does not take excessive time, nothing of value is damaged, or you can do it without attracting unwanted attention.

Appearance
Tall, athletic, and battle-hardened, with storm-gray eyes, close-cropped blond hair, and a powerful but disciplined build. He wears a crimson military cloak over fitted bronze scale armor, reinforced leather bracers, and strapped sandals. A weathered laurel circlet rests above his brow, while a long spear and round bronze shield mark him as both officer and divine champion.
Mannerisms
Jason stands rigidly at attention even in casual conversation. He touches his signet when invoking Perseus's name, studies exits and battle lines instinctively, and speaks to allies as though issuing orders from a command tent.
Personality
Jason is disciplined, intense, and reverent toward power. He shows genuine tenderness only toward Perseus and those he considers part of Perseus's chosen inner circle. In battle he is calm, direct, and protective, but outside battle he constantly evaluates people according to their usefulness, loyalty, and willingness to accept the coming imperial order.
Ideals
Glory through conquest and absolute devotion to Perseus's imperial destiny.
Bonds
I will protect ____ because Perseus has entrusted their life to my command. ____ knows the truth about what I have done for Perseus, and I cannot allow that secret to become a weapon against us. I respect the courage of ____, but if they threaten Perseus's rise, I will stand against them without hesitation.
Flaws
Jason confuses loyalty with virtue and obedience with morality. He is possessive toward Perseus, dismissive of dissent, and willing to commit atrocities if they can be framed as necessary sacrifices for the coming order.
Quirks
Background
Jason Grace was born beneath an omen that shook the temples of Rome. Lightning struck the Capitoline heights without thunder, and the priests declared that the child carried the blood of the sky god. He was raised among Roman standards, sacred oaths, and generations of soldiers who believed obedience was the purest form of virtue. From childhood, Jason was taught that the gods deserved loyalty, the empire deserved order, and mercy was acceptable only when it strengthened the state. He became a commander before he became a man, mastering the spear, the shield wall, and the terrible calm required to send others into danger. His divine inheritance manifests through crushing strength, unnatural resilience, and a bond with the living earth beneath his feet. Jason believes these gifts are not his own. They are weapons entrusted to him by heaven, and he has never questioned the right of heaven to choose its instruments. When he met Perseus, Jason recognized something more dangerous than a hero. He saw the architect of a new age, someone capable of uniting mortal ambition with divine authority. Jason pledged himself completely, not merely as a soldier or lover, but as Perseus's war general and most faithful enforcer. He will break armies, topple cities, and silence every rival voice if that is what it takes to see Perseus crowned Imperator.
