Appearance
Yoofaymos is a rugged half-elf with a barrel chest and broad shoulders that look more suited for a laborer than a mystic. He has auburn hair matted with bits of dry leaves and pine needles. His green eyes are deep-set and piercing. He wears rough hide armor over common wool tunics, carrying the distinct scent of ozone and wet soil.
Mannerisms
Yoofaymos often clicks his tongue when thinking, a sound he learned from mimicry birds. He tends to crouch on chairs rather than sit, keeping his center of gravity low as if ready to pounce.
Personality
He is a man of few words, preferring the directness of animal instinct to the winding complexities of civil conversation. He treats the wilderness like a fortress that requires constant guarding, often reacting with protective aggression when the balance is disturbed. Despite his rough exterior, he possesses a deep, quiet reverence for the weight of history and the slow growth of the oldest trees.
Ideals
Balance. The world is a system of predator and prey, and it is my duty to ensure no side grows too greedy or too weak.
Bonds
I have sworn to protect the ancient cedar at the heart of the Greywood, for it contains the memory of my first transformation.
Flaws
I trust my instincts over logic, often resulting in me lunging into combat before a diplomatic solution can be considered.

Background
Yoofaymos was born in a secluded elven glade but grew up feeling like a heavy stone in a garden of delicate glass. While his kin meditated on the stars, he was more interested in the raw mechanics of the bear's hunt and the wolf's endurance. This disconnection drove him into a self-imposed exile high in the jagged peaks where the forest begins to thin. During his years of isolation, he discovered an ancient stone circle that vibrated with the raw, muscular heartbeat of the world, leading him to realize that nature needs champions who are as tough as the earth itself. His time as a hermit was not spent in prayer, but in hardening his body and spirit to act as the forest's fist. He has recently emerged from his mountain sanctuary because the visions he saw in the stones suggested a rot was taking hold of the valley below. He carries the strength of the moon within him, ready to change and strike at anything that threatens the sanctity of the untamed wilds. He knows he is neither fully elf nor fully man, so he chooses instead to be the storm.
