Appearance
Danielle is a slender elf with porcelain skin and striking silver hair that she keeps tied back with a worn leather cord. She wears practical, travel-stained robes in shades of deep indigo, reinforced with leather padding at the shoulders and elbows. Her most prominent feature is her massive spellbook, bound in shimmering blue dragon-scales, which hangs from a heavy chain at her waist. Her eyes are the color of tempered steel and always seem to be scanning the environment for magical residue.
Mannerisms
She has a habit of smoothing out her robes whenever she is nervous and often hums the melodies of old elven nursery rhymes while preparing her spells.
Personality
Danielle is intellectual but fiercely independent. She possesses a dry wit and a low tolerance for bureaucratic nonsense, especially when it involves restricted knowledge. While she can be clinical when discussing theory, she is deeply empathetic toward those vulnerable to magical abuse. She often talks to herself when solving puzzles and prefers the company of a good book over a loud tavern, though she will fight like a cornered lion to protect her friends.
Ideals
Freedom. Knowledge should be used to liberate and protect, not to control or exclude.
Bonds
I carry a fragmented seal from the Silverymoon library, it is my only connection to my past and a key I hope to one day understand.
Flaws
I am dangerously curious. If I see a locked door or a forbidden glyph, my need to investigate usually overrides my sense of self-preservation.

Background
Born in the celestial city of Silverymoon, Danielle Arkenstone was raised among the greatest libraries of the North. Her father, a historian of the Age of Arcanum, taught her that magic is the ultimate safeguard of civilization. However, Danielle soon grew restless with the gatekeeping of the Mage Guilds. She believed that defensive magic, specifically the art of Abjuration, should be a universal right for protection rather than a closely guarded secret. After she was caught accessing the Restricted Arcanum to share warding rituals with common militia, she was forced into a polite exile. Since then, Danielle has traveled the world as a wandering sage and protector. She views her magic as a shield for the innocent and a hammer against those who use the weave to oppress others. Her goal is to catalog every warding spell ever written, ensuring that no shadow can fall without a counter ready to meet it.
