Rhogar is a tall, lithe dragonborn with matte black scales that absorb the light. His eyes are a sharp sulfurous yellow. He wears dark, functional soldier's leathers with most of the brass polished to remove glinting, and he carries a worn cloak that blends into shadows.

He is quiet and observant, preferring to watch a room before entering it. He still treats every encounter as a tactical operation and speaks in short, efficient sentences.

Rhogar was once a sergeant in the Black Wing Vanguard, an elite unit of scouts serving a northern dragon-lord. His life was defined by the chain of command until his commander, General Vaxus, betrayed the unit to a rival faction in exchange for safe passage. Rhogar watched his brothers-in-arms fall in a night of blood and acid. He only survived by masking his scent with swamp muck and hiding in the shadows he once patrolled. Since the slaughter, Rhogar has lived as a sellsword on the edges of the law. He has traded his spear for a shortsword, realizing that the battlefield is now everywhere and everyone is a potential threat. He uses his military discipline to remain the most dangerous shadow in the room. He does not seek redemption, he only seeks the trail of General Vaxus.
