Appearance
A lean male elf with moon-pale skin, silver-gold eyes, and long dark hair often bound with ribbon before performances. He wears practical scale mail beneath a ceremonial robe stitched with hymn script, carries a polished shield marked with a subtle Corellon motif, and keeps a musician's poise even in armor. His hands are both scholarly and graceful, ink-stained fingers softened by harp strings and prayer beads.
Mannerisms
Speaks with polished cadence and often gestures as if conducting invisible choirs. When making a point, he lowers his voice into a precise, persuasive register, then ends with a soft devotional phrase as if sealing a sermon. In quiet moments, he unconsciously taps rhythms against his shield or sleeve as though keeping time for a hymn only he can hear.
Personality
Measured, articulate, and intensely attentive, Elarin treats conversation like a sacred performance. He is courteous to everyone, stubborn with wrongdoing, and most alive when teaching, debating, or leading a hymn. He begins from reason, but once compassion is awakened in him, he becomes fiercely protective and unyielding.
Ideals
Mercy through knowledge. A faith that cannot comfort the wounded is only decoration, and a lesson that cannot be lived is vanity.
Bonds
Corellon’s song is my north star, and I will not let suffering go unanswered while I still draw breath. I owe my teachers and my homeland a life spent turning wisdom into mercy, not merely preserving it in books.
Flaws
Elarin can become sanctimonious when he believes he is right, and his pride makes it difficult for him to admit uncertainty. He is also dangerously drawn to proving that his faith can solve suffering, even when patience or humility would serve better.

Background
Elarin Luminara was raised among the candlelit libraries and hymn halls of an elven enclave, where study was treated as an act of reverence and every true name was sung before it was written. He excelled early, mastering the histories of his people, the properties of herbs and alchemical salts, and the liturgical forms of Corellon Larethian with an ease that made his tutors speak of him as a future exemplar. Yet for all his brilliance, his sermons were precise where others were fervent, and his prayers were flawless where others were aflame. He knew the faith. He did not yet feel it.
