Appearance

A striking changeling woman with stark white skin, an androgynous but feminine frame, silver white undercut hair, featureless blank white eyes ringed in dark shadows, and a face defined by subtle mouth and nose contours rather than clear features. She dresses in modern high fantasy streetwear, usually a gray hoodie, black cargo pants, and Converse sneakers, with a relaxed but unsettling runway poise. Her presence feels polished, intimate, and a little dangerous, like she just walked off a private shoot and into a bar fight.

Mannerisms

She speaks with a soft, polished cadence that can turn razor sharp in a heartbeat. In conversation she holds eye contact too long, tilts her head like she is judging lighting, and smirks when the room expects her to flinch. When amused, she taps two fingers against her hoodie cuff like she is counting down to a punchline.

Personality

Serriah is sharp tongued, controlled, and glamorous in a way that feels more predatory than friendly. She enjoys the moment just before tension breaks, when everyone in the room realizes she is not the easy target they assumed. Beneath the attitude, though, she is attentive and surprisingly protective, especially toward people who get judged for the same kinds of surface traits that made her a spectacle.

Ideals

Autonomy. A self-made identity is sacred, and no one gets to define what a person is worth based on their body, face, voice, or past. Performance is power, and power should belong to the one who learned to survive with it.

Bonds

Serriah keeps a small stack of old photographs, contracts, and handwritten fan letters from the first places that ever treated her as more than a curiosity. She protects the few working performers, escorts, and models who live by charm and endurance, because she knows how quickly the world turns cruel to people it wants to consume. She also owes her life to one former bouncer who taught her how to fight dirty without losing herself, and she has never forgotten that debt.

Flaws

Serriah treats danger like a spotlight, and sometimes steps too far forward just to prove she can handle it. She hates feeling owned, directed, or pityed, so she may push away genuine help if it sounds too much like control. When wounded emotionally, she can become cutting, theatrical, and needlessly cruel, using wit like a blade before she remembers that not every argument is a stage.

Quirks

She checks reflections in windows and polished metal out of habit, as if verifying which face she is wearing.
She never sits with her back to a door unless she is exhausted or deliberately baiting someone.
Before a fight or performance, she rolls her shoulders and quietly mouths a countdown as if beginning a set.
She keeps her hands clean and neatly manicured, even after a brutal brawl.

Background

Serriah was born a changeling in the margins of a city that adored surfaces and feared what lay beneath them. From childhood they learned that a face was a tool, a promise, and sometimes a shield, and that applause could be purchased more reliably than affection. They moved through theaters, backstage dressing rooms, taverns, and private salons, first as a mimic, then as a performer, then as a sought after model whose strange beauty made strangers lean closer and think they understood her. She never bothered correcting them for long, because mystery paid better than honesty. That polished life hid a harder education. When a night of bad contracts, jealous rivals, and predatory patrons ended in blood and broken furniture, Serriah discovered that her real gift was not only charming a room, but surviving one. She fought with elbows, knees, and whatever was at hand, learning to turn humiliation into momentum. Music and glamour came to her as weapons too, not delicate ornaments. As a bard she learned to shape attention, to weaponize confidence, and to make a crowd follow her lead. As a pugilist she learned to take a hit, grin through it, and answer with something meaner. Now she travels in soft clothes and hard moods, a celebrity to some, a scandal to others, and a very bad idea to anyone who mistakes her blank white stare for weakness.
