On the first turn of combat, Selene's speed increases by 10 feet and she makes one additional weapon attack. A hit from that attack deals an extra 1d8 weapon damage.

Selene can pass through nonmagical plants without being slowed or damaged by them, and has advantage on saving throws against magically created or manipulated plants.

- Feral SensesLevel 18
Selene gains the ability to see invisible creatures within 30 feet, provided they are not hidden from her, and she has advantage on attack rolls against creatures she cannot see.
- Foe SlayerLevel 20
Selene adds her Wisdom modifier to the attack roll or damage roll of an attack against a favored enemy. This benefit can apply before or after the roll, but only once per turn.

- Dread AmbusherLevel 3

Appearance
Selene is a tall, pale-skinned human woman with an austere, otherworldly beauty. Her whitish-lilac hair falls in long, weightless strands that seem to drift in an unseen current. Her fuchsia eyes glow like distant stars seen through a dying nebula. She wears dark scale mail etched with faint violet constellations, a weather-stained cloak, and carries twin blades formed from condensed dark space. Thin fractures of violet light sometimes appear around her hands and shoulders when she manipulates the boundaries of reality.
Mannerisms
Selene speaks in a calm, nearly emotionless voice and pauses before answering as though consulting a distant star chart. She rarely blinks, maintains unsettling eye contact, and turns her head toward empty space whenever a rift is near. When threatened, she becomes utterly still before her blades appear in her hands.
Personality
Selene is legendary, cold, and aloof. She studies people as though they are temporary phenomena, observing their emotions without sharing them. She is patient, disciplined, and nearly impossible to intimidate. Beneath her detachment lies a precise sense of responsibility toward the fragile worlds she has chosen to protect.
Ideals
Balance. The universe is not kind or cruel. It simply continues. Selene believes survival depends on preserving the balance between forces, even when compassion, law, or personal loyalty demand otherwise.
Bonds
The spatial rift that brought Selene to the mortal world is still widening somewhere beyond the known wilderness. She will find it, seal it, or destroy whatever intelligence lies on the other side, regardless of the cost.
Flaws
Selene cannot understand why ordinary people allow emotion to influence strategy. She often abandons allies who slow her pursuit of a greater threat, and she is disturbingly willing to sacrifice herself, or others, if she believes the survival of a world depends on it.
Quirks
Background
Selene was not born beneath a sun. She emerged from the Abyss, a region of deep space where distance has no fixed meaning and dead stars drift like ash through endless black. There, she served as a pathfinder among fractured worlds, hunting entities that crossed between dimensions and sealing spatial wounds before they could consume entire civilizations. Her weapons were shaped from collapsed starlight, blades that cut not flesh alone, but the space surrounding it. Emotion became an inconvenience to her, then an unfamiliar language, as centuries of isolation reduced affection, grief, and fear to distant academic concepts. A rift opened above the mortal wilderness and cast Selene into the world of humans. Stranded beneath a sky that obeyed ordinary geometry, she survived by following game trails, reading weather, and learning the habits of beasts. An aging hermit found her in the wild and taught her the customs of the Outlander, including how to live from the land and guide others through hostile terrain. Selene eventually became a legendary ranger, feared by monsters and revered by travelers who saw her appear from nowhere when the night itself seemed to split apart. She now wanders in search of the original rift, convinced that something from the Abyss followed her through it.
