Appearance
Euphorbia is a slim half-elf with pale olive skin, moss-gold eyes, and long dark hair often braided with little glass beads that catch the light. She wears practical scale mail beneath a weathered cleric's vestments, and carries a polished holy symbol at her chest, a soft lantern glow seeming to follow her wherever she goes. Her hands are usually bandaged from travel and healing work, yet her expression stays calm and observant, as if she is always measuring a room for both danger and mercy.
Mannerisms
She speaks softly in dim places and unconsciously angles herself so her lantern or spell light falls on other people rather than on her own face. When thinking, she rubs her thumb over the edge of her holy symbol or traces routes through the air like she is mapping an unseen corridor.
Personality
Calm, patient, and faintly analytical, Euphorbia treats fear like weather, real, unpleasant, and best navigated with preparation. She is kind in a practical way, preferring to hand someone a clean bandage and a clear route forward rather than offer empty comfort.
Ideals
Preservation. Life is not sacred because it is fragile, it is sacred because it can be protected. Her duty is to keep people alive long enough for them to make their own choices.
Bonds
She keeps a small ledger of every person she has guided out of danger, and she revisits their names before every descent into a dungeon. She also remains devoted to the temple archivist who taught her that even lost places deserve careful maps.
Flaws
She hesitates when asked to choose between two lives, because she believes every loss can be delayed if only she thinks long enough. In dangerous places she sometimes keeps silent too long, convinced that careful observation can solve problems that should have been shouted about immediately.

Background
Euphorbia was raised in the quiet outer chapels of a temple that served caravans, pilgrims, and the dead alike. As a half-elf, she was never fully of the clergy or fully of the road, so she learned to stand between worlds. She listened to the prayers of the desperate, copied healing rites, and memorized the safest routes through old ruins by following both the cracks in the stone and the habits of the spirits said to linger there. When a collapse trapped a party of explorers beneath a forgotten shrine, Euphorbia was still only an initiate. She guided them out by lantern light, mended their wounds, and discovered that she was most at peace when danger and suffering were both close at hand. Since then she has taken work as a dungeon guide, entering ancient tombs and buried halls not for glory, but to keep others alive long enough to learn what the dark is hiding. Her faith is sincere, but not rigid, and she sees balance not as detachment, but as the duty to preserve life without pretending to control it.
