Appearance
A lean brass dragonborn with sun-faded amber scales, a thin fringe of moss-green markings along the jaw and forearms, and small devotional beads braided into the horn ridges. Their robes are practical and travel-worn, layered over hide armor and a well-used shield etched with leaf and flame motifs. Their druidic focus is a carved yew branch wrapped in prayer cord, and the ends of their tail often twitch restlessly when they are thinking.
Mannerisms
Speaks softly and counts breaths before replying, as if every sentence should be offered like incense. They touch the edge of their shield before making a promise, and unconsciously arrange leaves, stones, or prayer cords into neat circles when thinking.
Personality
Patient, compassionate, and quietly iron-willed. Veylith treats suffering like an invading blight to be understood, uprooted, and healed, not merely endured. They are gentle in speech, exacting in work, and surprisingly stubborn when anyone threatens a place or creature under their protection.
Ideals
Reverence. All life is sacred, whether it grows in cathedral gardens or in thorn-choked ruins. To protect the living web is a holy duty, and mercy should extend to the helpless, the wounded, and the desperate.
Bonds
The temple that raised Veylith still shelters refugees and wounded travelers, and they send offerings home whenever they can. They also carry a seed pouch taken from a ruined grove, and they will not rest until they have planted those seeds in safe, fertile ground.
Flaws
Veylith is so accustomed to tending others that they neglect their own weakness until they are nearly spent. They can also become rigidly ritualistic under stress, insisting on prayer, cleanup, and proper burial even when speed would be wiser.

Background
Veylith was hatched in the cloister kitchens of a temple that served travelers, mendicants, and the desperate. The priests expected little from a dragonborn child with a thin frame, a quiet voice, and scales the color of old brass. What Veylith lacked in physical strength, they made up for in patience, watching the way the temple kept its gardens alive through drought, how prayer and compost, oil and rainwater, all worked together in sacred cycles. The first miracle they ever witnessed was not fire from the heavens, but a dying vine revived by careful hands and a whispered blessing. As an acolyte, Veylith was trusted to tend the herb beds, copy rites, and escort pilgrims through the wild places between settlements. On those roads they learned that the divine was not confined to stone altars. It lived in the root crack splitting rock, in the owl that kept watch over graves, in the storm that broke a plague of insects and left the fields green. Their druidic calling emerged naturally from devotion, then hardened into purpose after a blight burned through several sacred groves near the temple. Veylith left with a prayer on their tongue and a vow in their heart, to protect living places before they became memorials. Now they wander as a druid of the circle, carrying temple discipline into the untamed world. They heal where they can, bury what must be buried, and answer cruelty with the patient fury of nature itself. Though they still bow at shrines, they have come to believe every living thing is already part of the holy order, and that their task is not to command the wild, but to keep faith with it.
