Exhale a 5-foot-wide, 15-foot cone of fire. Each creature in the area makes a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a success. Once used, this trait cannot be used again until you finish a short or long rest.

- Open Hand TechniqueLevel 3
You learn techniques that let you manipulate an opponent's ki. When you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of three effects: it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 15 feet away, or it cannot take reactions until the end of your next turn. The target can be affected by only one of these effects per Flurry of Blows.

Appearance
A broad-shouldered brass-scaled dragonborn with muted ochre-gold scales, dark amber eyes, and small swept-back horns. Their scales are dulled in places by years of dust, sun, and temple labor, while their palms are callused from staff drills and carrying water jars. They smell faintly of cedar oil, warm stone, and the peppery incense used in their monastery. They are aware of the scent and sometimes apologize for it before anyone else can comment. Their clothing is practical, consisting of saffron prayer wraps beneath a weathered travel robe, with a simple cord around their wrist bearing wooden prayer beads.
Mannerisms
Oluwaseyi counts their breaths under stress, touching one prayer bead after each exhalation. They bow slightly before entering any room, even an ordinary tavern, and instinctively straighten cups, stools, and scattered objects as they pass.
Personality
Gentle, attentive, and unusually literal. Oluwaseyi listens without interrupting and gives people their full attention, but their calm exterior hides a competitive streak that emerges whenever someone challenges them to a contest of balance, endurance, or breath control.
Ideals
Service. A disciplined life has value only when it makes other people's lives safer, calmer, and more hopeful.
Bonds
The spring shrine that raised me must remain open to every traveler, regardless of wealth, ancestry, or creed. I carry its prayers beyond its walls, and I will return if it is ever threatened.
Flaws
I mistake patience for moral superiority and can become quietly judgmental when others act impulsively. When frightened, I cling to procedure so tightly that I may overlook a compassionate exception.
Quirks
Background
Oluwaseyi was raised in a small dragonborn shrine built around a spring that never ran dry, even during the longest droughts. Their caretakers taught that discipline was not meant to make the body rigid, but to make it dependable. Oluwaseyi learned to carry water, tend lamps, memorize prayers, and settle disputes between pilgrims. They were never naturally gifted with strength or keen intellect, but they possessed a patient willingness to repeat a motion until it became honest. A visiting monk recognized that patience and began teaching them the temple's defensive forms, first as ritual movements and later as practical protection for travelers on the road.
