Appearance
Lazya is a towering orc woman, 6'5" and built like a siege engine forged from muscle and scar tissue. Her skin is deep olive green, weathered and thick, with old white scars crossing her bald scalp and forearms. Her face is broad and severe, framed by heavy brows, deep amber eyes, and filed tusks that rise past her upper lip. Large pointed ears carry thick iron rings, while her posture stays heavy and grounded, moving with a deliberate, controlled grace. She dresses for work and violence, in faded gray work pants, steel-toed boots, a tight sleeveless black undershirt, and a battered open leather vest stained by old blood and tool marks.
Mannerisms
She speaks in short, gravelly bursts and often lets silence do the rest. Before a fight, she rolls her shoulders once and cracks her neck with a slow exhale. When thinking, she taps two knuckles against her tusk or the flat of her thumb against her sternum, as if measuring impact. She rarely wastes words on introductions, but if she respects someone, she will stand slightly to their side, ready to take the first blow.
Personality
Blunt, steady, and hard to rattle, Lazya is a woman of immediate truths. She respects competence, endurance, and honesty under pressure. She has very little patience for boasts, evasions, or courtly nonsense, but she is surprisingly gentle with the exhausted, the hungry, and anyone who has already been hurt enough for one lifetime. To those she trusts, she is quietly funny in a dry, heavy way, and fiercely protective.
Ideals
Freedom. No ruler, landlord, or spellbound magistrate should be allowed to decide that a living people can be erased from their own land.
Bonds
Her clan was broken by the Spire, and she will not rest until she knows what became of every survivor, every collaborator, and every official who signed away her people’s land.
Flaws
Lazya solves too many problems with force, and she can become stubborn to the point of self-destruction when someone tries to order her around or insult her dead. She trusts actions more than explanations, which makes her slow to forgive and easy to provoke. When anger rises, she may keep fighting long after the smart choice would be retreat, because surrender feels too much like letting the world win again.
Quirks
Background
Lazya was born far beyond the city walls, in a nomadic orc clan that lived by hard travel, harder labor, and the simple law that strength was a fact, not a boast. She learned to wrestle calves, split firewood, hunt in bad weather, and settle disputes with her fists before she learned polished Common. In her clan, every meal, every mile, and every scar was earned. Lazya did not become gentle. She became reliable. When storms hit, when predators circled, when younger kin needed a wall of muscle between them and the world, she was that wall. The Spire-sanctioned land-grab ended that life with paperwork, steel, and smoke. Her clan was scattered, some killed, others hauled away in chains, and Lazya learned that civilization could be as brutal as any raiding band. She survived by taking whatever work kept her fed, first as a hauler and pit laborer, then as a tavern bruiser when threats needed their teeth knocked out. She fights like she does everything else, direct, efficient, and with an economy of motion that surprises people who mistake her size for clumsiness. Now she travels with a stolen sense of purpose, hunting the people and institutions that turned her homeland into property.
