When When a creature within 60 feet that can hear Gimble makes an attack or presents an opening for ridicule.

- Mage Hand
When When Gimble needs to manipulate an unattended object within range.
Gimble creates a spectral, floating hand that can manipulate objects, open doors, retrieve items, or perform similar simple tasks within 30 feet.
- Bardic InspirationLevel 1
Gimble can use a musical performance or stirring speech to inspire one creature within 60 feet that can hear him. The creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d6, which can be added to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw within the next 10 minutes. Gimble can use this feature a number of times equal to his Charisma modifier, and he regains all expended uses after a long rest.

Appearance
Gimble is a small male gnome with pale copper skin, sharply pointed ears, and unruly silver hair gathered into a topknot with several colored threads. His bright green eyes constantly flick from person to person, measuring their intelligence. He wears a well-maintained leather jerkin beneath dark blue academic robes, along with a lute decorated with tiny brass gears and a holy symbol of his former temple. His expression usually suggests that he has just noticed an obvious mistake nobody else was clever enough to see.
Mannerisms
Gimble taps his temple whenever he believes he has made an especially brilliant point. He frequently pauses mid-conversation to adjust his spectacles, even though he does not need them, then speaks in a patient instructional tone as if addressing a room full of children.
Personality
Gimble is brilliantly observant, relentlessly condescending, and genuinely fascinated by any problem that appears difficult. He sees intelligence as the only trait that truly matters, and he evaluates everyone he meets by how quickly they understand his explanations. Beneath his arrogance is a desperate need to be recognized as exceptional, especially by the scholars and priests who once dismissed him as an insufferable child.
Ideals
Intellect is the highest form of virtue. Those who understand more deserve to decide more, and every mystery should yield to a sufficiently clever mind.
Bonds
He carries a damaged page from the temple's oldest sacred text, and he is determined to prove that its hidden message can only be understood by a mind as brilliant as his own.
Flaws
Gimble cannot resist correcting anyone he considers less intelligent, even when doing so is dangerous, rude, or completely irrelevant. He mistakes confidence for proof of competence and would rather make a disastrous decision himself than follow advice from someone he considers intellectually inferior.
Quirks
Background
Gimble was raised in a secluded gnomish temple devoted to the preservation of knowledge, where priests taught that the universe was a puzzle and intellect was the only reliable tool for solving it. He excelled at theology, ancient languages, and musical recitation, but he treated every lesson as an opportunity to demonstrate his superiority. While other acolytes prayed, Gimble composed elaborate hymns that corrected the temple's traditional verses, adding clever harmonies and impossibly fast passages to prove that his mind could improve sacred wisdom. His talent was undeniable, though his habit of explaining simple concepts to senior priests earned him more reprimands than praise.
