Appearance
A sturdy hill dwarf woman with a weathered miner's build, braided auburn beardless chin, bright green eyes, and a scattering of gemstone dust still caught in her dark hair. She dresses in layered travel-worn leathers, a moss-green druid cloak, and carries a carved wooden shield marked with leaf and pick symbols. Her hands are rough from stonework, but her sleeves and belt are decorated with tiny charms made of polished quartz, copper wire, and pressed flowers.
Mannerisms
Speaks thoughtfully and often pauses to rub stone dust between her fingers when she is deciding whether to trust someone. She tilts her head to listen to wind, running water, or the settling of earth as if they are speaking to her. When nervous, she hums an old mining tune under her breath.
Personality
Warm when she trusts, sly when she does not, and stubborn enough to argue with a mountain. She is curious about nearly everything, especially old stories, rare stones, and people who live by rules she can politely ignore. Vistra laughs easily, but she remembers slights for years.
Ideals
Freedom. No law, custom, or ancestor should own a person's heart. Love, learning, and the wild all grow best when they are allowed to choose their own shape.
Bonds
She still keeps one polished gem from her family mine, and she will not let it be lost, sold, or forgotten. She also feels fiercely loyal to the elf who first showed her another life, even if time and distance have changed the shape of that love.
Flaws
She takes reckless risks when romance, freedom, or a chance to defy authority are involved. If someone reminds her of her father or of the clan that cast her out, her temper flashes hot before her sense can catch up.

Background
Vistra was raised deep in the comforting dark of a dwarf clan hold, where the rhythm of hammer on stone, the heat of the forge, and the clean logic of trade booths shaped her earliest years. Her father trusted her to carry surplus ore and gemstones up to market, and it was among those busy stalls that she first noticed an elf who seemed more interested in her stories than in the gems on display. Their meetings began as accidents, then became stolen conversations, then quietly daring escapes whenever the clan was not watching. For a time, Vistra felt as if she had found a second home in the spaces between duty and daylight. That secret life shattered when her father discovered the truth. To him, she had not only loved outside the clan, she had wandered from order itself. She was banished, cut off from family and the life she knew. The elf and a circle of druid companions took her in, teaching her that roots can grow in rock just as easily as in soil, and that exile does not have to mean emptiness. Now Vistra walks the wild places with a scholar's hunger and a rebel's grin, collecting lore, listening to stones, and honoring the strange freedom of becoming someone her old home never expected.
