Appearance
A tall high elf with luminous pale skin, long silver hair braided with thin prayer cords, and clear amber eyes that seem to reflect candlelight. He wears polished scale mail under a white-and-gold clerical tabard, carries a sanctified shield etched with a sunburst, and keeps a well-used mace at his belt. A scholar’s satchel hangs at his side beside ink stains and worn prayer notes, giving him the look of a battlefield priest who still smells faintly of library dust.
Mannerisms
He lowers his voice when naming holy things, taps two fingers against his shield when thinking, and instinctively straightens any books, scrolls, or prayer cards placed near him. When healing someone, he murmurs a quiet half-quoted blessing as if finishing a sentence begun centuries ago.
Personality
Serene, precise, and quietly compassionate, Elingon speaks like a scholar and acts like a guardian. He believes every life has a sacred footnote, every battlefield has a moral lesson, and every act of kindness is a proof that the world is still worth saving.
Ideals
Mercy. Knowledge should not remain locked away, and divine power exists to preserve life, illuminate truth, and give the lost another chance.
Bonds
He keeps a carefully wrapped book of recovered prayers from a destroyed chapel, and he has sworn to return or rebuild every sanctuary tied to the names recorded within it.
Flaws
He can become insufferably certain that a proper citation, ritual, or precedent exists for every problem. In moments of panic he talks too much, explaining doctrines no one asked for while ignoring the obvious danger in front of him.

Background
Elingon was raised among the high elven libraries of a bright, patient city where every mural carried a lesson and every lesson carried a prayer. As a child he was valued less for strength than for memory, curiosity, and a voice that never rose above a reverent hush. He spent decades copying liturgies, translating obscured chronicles, and tracing the history of miracles as if they were constellations. Yet the more he studied, the more he became convinced that knowledge without mercy was a lantern held over an empty road. That realization led him from the archives to the altar, and from the altar to the world beyond the walls.
