Appearance
Druska Belasko is a tall, powerfully built tiefling woman with broad shoulders, a strong back, and the poised balance of a trained warrior. Her skin is a striking blend of deep purple and sun-darkened red, weathered by the harsh light of the Galena Mountains. Blue-black hair falls around her face and lightens to smoky blue at the tips from years beneath the sun. Her golden eyes are flecked with black, framed by swept-back horns and a long tail marked with old training scars. She favors practical armor, a weather-stained cloak, and carefully maintained weapons, carrying herself with unapologetic confidence while retaining an unmistakably feminine presence.
Mannerisms
Druska stands with her weight evenly balanced, as if expecting an ambush even during polite conversation. She checks bowstrings and blade edges whenever she is thinking, and she addresses frightened people in a firm, practical voice that leaves no room for panic. When challenged, she lifts her chin and smiles as though the argument has already been decided.
Personality
Druska is bold, direct, and fiercely self-assured. She speaks like a commander even when nobody has appointed her one, and she treats hesitation as a problem to be solved rather than a feeling to be indulged. Beneath her pride is a disciplined protector who notices who is hungry, who is afraid, and who is standing too close to the door. She has little patience for cruelty, slavery, or anyone who treats tieflings as easy prey.
Ideals
Protection. Strength means nothing unless it is used to shield those who cannot stand against the darkness alone. No raider, monster, tyrant, or slaver gets to decide that her people are expendable.
Bonds
Druska joined organized soldiers to gain the discipline and battlefield knowledge needed to protect the eastern Galena tiefling communities. She remembers every family member and miner who vanished during the worst raids, and she refuses to let the same fate come for another hold. She sends part of every reward home, helps maintain the mountain watch, and keeps a bloodstone pendant carved from ore taken from her family's mine.
Flaws
Druska's confidence easily becomes arrogance. She assumes she is the most capable person in any room and reacts poorly when corrected, especially by someone she considers inexperienced. She is also dangerously unwilling to retreat if family, clan, or fellow tieflings are threatened, even when withdrawal would be the wiser military choice.
Quirks
Background
Druska Belasko was born among the tiefling holds scattered through the eastern Galena Mountain range of Damara, where her people farmed narrow terraces, cut stone, and mined gems and bloodstones from the mountain's dark interior. Her family maintained a fortified homestead overlooking a ravine road, a place that had to be defended as often as it was cultivated. Raiders came for wealth, food, labor, and captives, and Druska learned early that a locked door was only a delay. Her mother taught her the longbow, her uncles taught her the sword, and every member of the hold taught her that survival was a duty shared by the entire clan.
