- Celestial RevelationAasimarStarting at character level 3, you can reveal your celestial nature as a Bonus Action. The transformation lasts for 1 minute, until you end it, or until you have the Incapacitated condition. - Divine Smite
When After hitting with a Melee weapon
After hitting with a Melee weapon, expend a spell slot to deal 2d8 Radiant damage, plus 1d8 per slot level above 1st, with an additional 1d8 against an Undead or Fiend. Once per turn.
- Divine SenseLevel 1
You can sense the presence of Celestials, Fiends, and Undead within 60 feet, though you do not learn their exact identity. You can also detect consecrated or desecrated places and objects. You can use this sense a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a Long Rest.
- Lay on HandsLevel 1
Your blessed touch can restore hit points. You have a pool of healing power that replenishes when you finish a Long Rest. The pool has a total number of points equal to five times your paladin level. As a Utilize action, you can touch a creature and restore any number of points from the pool, up to the amount remaining. You can also expend 5 points to remove the Poisoned condition instead of restoring hit points.
- Weapon and Armor MasteryLevel 1
You gain proficiency with all martial weapons and can use a Holy Symbol as a spellcasting focus for your paladin spells.
- Fighting StyleLevel 2

- Paladin's SmiteLevel 2
When you cast Divine Smite, you can deal extra Radiant damage to the target immediately after hitting it with a Melee weapon. The target takes 2d8 extra Radiant damage, plus 1d8 for each spell slot level above 1st, to a maximum of 5d8. The damage increases by 1d8 against an Undead or Fiend. You can use this feature only once during a turn.
- Channel DivinityLevel 3

Appearance
A broad-shouldered humanlike man with warm brown skin, close-cropped black hair, and a square, weathered face. His eyes shine with a faint amber radiance when he invokes his celestial power. A pair of small luminous wings can emerge from his back during his Celestial Revelation, their light edged in gold. He wears well-maintained chain mail beneath a red-and-ivory tabard marked with his god's simple sunburst emblem. His shield bears numerous repaired dents, each one carefully polished rather than hidden.
Mannerisms
He stands at attention whenever someone speaks about the dead. Before eating, he touches two fingers to the sunburst on his shield. He addresses strangers as if they are fellow soldiers until they prove otherwise.
Personality
Quiet, patient, and relentlessly dependable. Chikatzin speaks plainly, keeps meticulous watch schedules, and shows kindness through practical service rather than comforting words. He is uncomfortable receiving praise and instinctively looks for the next task whenever a crisis ends.
Ideals
Service. Strength is not a privilege. It is a debt owed to the vulnerable, and every day offers another chance to repay it.
Bonds
The shrine where he was raised remains damaged and understaffed. He sends every spare coin and recovered relic home, and he will risk almost anything to protect its people.
Flaws
He confuses obedience with virtue and struggles to question commands delivered in the language of faith. When exhausted or frightened, he becomes rigid, judgmental, and willing to sacrifice his own safety rather than admit uncertainty.
Quirks
Background
Chikatzin was raised in a poor military parish where service to the god of the Dawn was treated as both duty and shelter. His mother kept the shrine, his father served in the border infantry, and Chikatzin learned early that a person's worth was measured by what burdens he was willing to carry for others. When raiders burned the parish granaries, he enlisted before reaching adulthood, believing the army was the clearest instrument through which divine order could protect the helpless. Years of marching, watch duty, and battlefield rescue shaped him into a disciplined soldier, but not a cruel one. During a night assault, Chikatzin shielded a fallen enemy from execution and prayed over him until dawn. In answer, celestial light poured through his blood, revealing the heritage he had always carried but never understood. He now serves his god as a paladin, treating every patrol, meal, and act of violence as a sacred offering. He does not seek glory. He seeks to become useful enough that no innocent person is abandoned while he still has strength to stand.
