Appearance
Blart is a tiny fairy standing barely a foot tall with iridescent wings that shimmer like oil on water. She wears soot-stained studded leather that has been scaled down to her size, and her hair is a tangled mess of deep violet. She often carries a silver mace that looks like a toothpick in human hands, yet glows with a soft, comforting moonlight when she prays.
Mannerisms
Blart has a habit of hovering just over people's shoulders and tapping them on the ear to get their attention. She often cleans her wings with a small brush when she's bored.
Personality
Blart is surprisingly grounded for a fey creature, possessing a dry wit and a pragmatic outlook born from living in the gutters of Duskendale. She finds the worries of tall folk hilarious but is fiercely protective of those she considers 'her' giants. She is calm during crises, often whispering soothing words as she calls down the stars.
Ideals
Comfort. Everyone deserves a safe place to sleep and a quiet moment at the end of a hard day.
Bonds
My companions are the family I never had in the Feywild, and I will keep the monsters of the night away from them at any cost.
Flaws
I am incredibly possessive of shiny objects I find in the gutter, even if they are technically garbage.
Quirks
Background
Blart fell through a portal into the shadows of Duskendale when she was only a fledgling. Unlike her cousins in the Feywild, she didn't find the dark scary. Instead, she found it a perfect place to hide from the larger, meaner things that prowl the urban streets. She spent her early years as a scavenger, using her tiny size to navigate the narrow gaps between the crumbling stone buildings and finding peace in the twilight hours when the city finally goes quiet. Over time, she felt a connection to the goddess of the moon and stars, realizing that the transition from day to night is where she belongs. She wasn't just a stray fey. She was a guardian of the dusk. She eventually met her companions while attempting to pick a pocket that turned out to be a bag of holding, and after a series of hilarious misunderstandings, she became the party's moral and literal light in the dark. Now, she flies alongside them, providing a shield of twilight over their heads.
“Unlike her cousins in the Feywild, she didn't find the dark scary.”
