Appearance
Thul-Dar stands seven feet four inches tall with a lithe, corded build that suggests more speed than raw power. Their skin is the color of a storm cloud, decorated with subtle, faint patterns resembling swirling mist. They wear fine, silver-studded leather armor and keep their long, white hair tied back in a practical braid. A pair of copper-rimmed spectacles sits on their nose, often adjusted during moments of intense concentration.
Mannerisms
Regularly polishes their spectacles when thinking deeply and tends to stand on their tiptoes to get a better vantage point, even though they are already taller than everyone else.
Personality
Thul-Dar is clinical and precise, viewing the world as a series of vectors and equations. They speak with a calm, measured cadence and rarely lose their temper, preferring to analyze a threat before neutralizing it. They find comfort in the orderly chaos of a library and the strict geometry of a perfect sword lunge. While others see a brawl, Thul-Dar sees a puzzle waiting for a kinetic solution.
Ideals
Logic. Emotion clouds the mind, only through objective observation and reasoning can one find the truth and the most efficient path forward.
Bonds
The Archive of the Silver Spire is my home. I will do whatever is necessary to protect the knowledge stored there and the scholars who tend it.
Flaws
I am often perceived as cold or condescending because I struggle to empathize with those who act on impulse rather than calculation.
Quirks
Background
Born to a mountain clan that valued brawn above all else, Thul-Dar was an anomaly. While their kin practiced the crushing weight of the hammer, Thul-Dar was fascinated by the way light refracted through ice and the exact angle needed to slide down a glacier without losing momentum. Their intelligence was seen as a strange quirk until they correctly predicted an avalanche that would have wiped out the camp, using nothing but a plumb line and a handwritten chart. Recognizing that their path lay away from the peaks, Thul-Dar traveled to the Great Library of Silverymoon. There, they served as a protector of the restricted vaults, learning to weave defensive abjuration with their innate grace. They became an Eldritch Knight not for the glory of war, but to master the intersection of physical excellence and mental fortitude. Now, they travel to find lost scrolls and test their theories of combat against the unpredictable nature of the world.
