Appearance
A small cobalt-blue kobold with bright curious eyes, a pie-stained snout, a rakish grin, and a patched entertainer's outfit worn under light leather armor. She favors a red sash like a pirate captain and keeps her daggers, lute, and stolen trinkets arranged with almost ceremonial care. Her scales are neatly oiled, except where old scars and road dust mark a life on the run.
Mannerisms
She punctuates sentences with exaggerated bows, taps dagger hilts when thinking, and waves a claw like a stage magician before revealing even the smallest trick. When nervous, she hums sea shanties under her breath and aggressively polishes any pie tin within reach.
Personality
Bright-eyed, theatrical, and fiercely loyal, Blueberry treats every conversation like a performance and every danger like a chance to improvise. She is playful with allies, mercilessly sarcastic toward bullies, and quietly sentimental when no one is watching. She wants to be remembered not as a dragon's leftover hatchling, but as the daring little rogue who outlived every expectation.
Ideals
Loyalty. Found family is real family, and Blueberry will protect the people who gave her a home. Freedom. No dragon, noble, or undead tyrant gets to decide her path again.
Bonds
Her found family means everything to her, and she will cross kingdoms, seas, and graveyards to reunite with the party that raised her. She also treasures the battered little book of pirate stories that taught her how to fight like a legend, and she guards it as if it were a holy relic.
Flaws
Blueberry cannot resist a dramatic plan, a shiny trinket, or a fresh pie, even when discretion would save her life. She takes reckless risks if they might lead to a reunion or a good story, and she sometimes trusts clever lies because she loves telling them herself.
Quirks
Background
Blueberry began life as a hatchling in the shadow of a Red Dragon, until an adventuring party raided the dragon's lair to stop its war against dwarf miners. When they found the tiny kobold, they expected a trap or a plea for mercy. Instead, they found a child who clung to the nearest boot, sneezed soot into the fighter's face, and then tried to bite a brazier. Amused, the party spared her, and after the dragon fell, they brought her along as part mascot, part lucky charm, and part nuisance. She earned the name Blueberry after devouring an entire pie meant for a victory feast, then demanding another with all the solemnity of a monarch. Traveling with the party taught her more than survival. She learned to read from the books they carried, especially tales of swashbucklers, privateers, and daring rogues who never fought fair when a faster trick would do. Blueberry copied their style with absolute conviction, practicing flourishes with a short blade, balancing on wagon rails, and performing dramatic bows before any heist, ambush, or tavern show. She became invaluable on stealth missions, where her size, nerve, and knack for mischief let her slip through cracks no human could use. In camp, she sang for coin, told loud lies with a straight face, and somehow always knew where the good berries and better pies were hidden. Then came the lich. In the chaos of that battle, Blueberry was separated from the party, and when the dust settled, both her friends and their enemy were gone. No bodies, no spoor, only the sense that something larger and stranger had swallowed them whole. She refuses to believe they are dead. Somewhere, her found family still waits, and somewhere else, the lich still laughs. Until she finds them, Blueberry will keep moving, stealing what she needs, charming who she can, and following every rumor with the stubborn loyalty of a kobold who has finally decided that fate owes her an answer.
