Appearance
Kairon Creed is a lean tiefling with warm ember-red skin, swept-back black horns polished smooth at the tips, and a narrow tail that seldom stays still. His eyes glow a soft gold in dim light, and his dark hair is usually tied back with strips of woven reed and hide. He wears practical leather armor layered with herbs, feathers, and carved wooden charms, and carries a weathered wooden shield etched with thorn and vine motifs. He looks more like a wary pilgrim than a battlefield druid, but there is a calm, attentive intensity to him, as if he is always listening for something hidden beneath the wind.
Mannerisms
He pauses to touch bark, stone, or soil before entering a place, as if asking permission. When nervous, he speaks softly to plants in Infernal under his breath, a habit he refuses to explain.
Personality
Quiet, observant, and unexpectedly gentle, Kairon prefers listening to speaking and rarely wastes words. He is compassionate toward the injured, the lost, and the overlooked, but his patience ends quickly when someone mocks the sacredness of life or destroys for sport. He carries himself with a monk-like stillness that breaks only when he is fascinated by some tiny sign of nature, at which point his focus becomes absolute.
Ideals
Balance. Growth and decay are both sacred, and every wound in the world demands careful tending, not blind conquest.
Bonds
He owes his life to the nameless grove that sheltered him, and he will defend any place where nature is allowed to breathe without cruelty.
Flaws
Kairon trusts the wilderness more than people, and he can become coldly judgmental toward anyone who treats living things as disposable. When confronted with signs of corruption or needless violence, he may act before he thinks, convinced that mercy delayed is mercy denied.
Quirks
Background
Kairon Creed was born beneath a hard sky in a village that mistrusted anything with horns. His infernal blood made him a child people watched too closely, so he learned early that silence could be safer than pleading. He found his peace in the untended places beyond the fields, where roots split stone and insects built empires out of rot. There, among the briars and standing stones, he began to hear the world as a living thing, patient and ancient, with no fear of his bloodline and no need to explain itself. When a season of blight struck the village, Kairon vanished into the wilds rather than stand and be blamed. He meant to stay only until the anger passed, but exile became revelation. In a hidden grove, he spent months in prayer, observation, and fevered meditation, studying the shapes of growth and decay until he understood them as one sacred cycle.
