He bows his head before speaking a difficult truth, as if offering the words up for approval before they leave his mouth. Personality
Demetrius is calm, dutiful, and quietly intense, a man who treats promises as physical things that can be weighed, repaired, or broken. He is compassionate without being soft, and stern without cruelty. He notices small acts of kindness immediately, remembers them forever, and repays them with almost embarrassing seriousness. In conversation he prefers directness, but he is never rude unless someone tries to exploit the weak.

Order must serve compassion, not crush it. Law is holy when it defends the helpless, honors honest words, and gives the frightened a reason to stand upright again. A vow has meaning only when it protects someone who cannot protect themselves.
