Appearance
Cole is a rugged human with a face defined by hard angles and survival scars. He has short, military cropped hair and piercing dark green eyes that constantly scan the horizon. He wears sun-bleached tactical gear suitable for the desert of Zahra-Nur, and he is never seen without his long, wood-stocked M-24 rifle slung across his shoulder. His hands are calloused and rock steady.
Mannerisms
Cole taps his fingers in a rhythmic 4-4 time when he is impatient. He habitually adjusts his gloves whenever a conversation makes him uncomfortable.
Personality
Cole is the personification of cold efficiency. He speaks in short, declarative sentences and rarely wastes effort on pleasantries. He values order, hierarchy, and the precision of a well-executed plan. While he works for a criminal syndicate, he carries himself with the rigid discipline of the Army Ranger he once was.
Ideals
Efficiency is the highest virtue. A single, well-placed shot is worth more than a thousand empty promises.
Bonds
My brother, Brandon, is the only reason I have not completely lost my humanity to the sands of Desertstone.
Flaws
I have become so accustomed to viewing people as targets that I struggle to interact with others as human beings.
Quirks
Background
Born in the scorching heat of Desertstone, Cole joined the military as soon as he was of age. Alongside his brother, Brandon, he served in the Rangers until a disastrous mission left their unit abandoned by their commanders. Betrayed by the nation he served, Cole turned his lethal skills to the highest bidder. He eventually found his way to Zahra-Nur, where his talent for long-range elimination caught the attention of Ripley's Syndicate. Now, he serves as an elite enforcer, the man Ripley sends when a target needs to disappear from a thousand yards away. Cole has seen the worst of the desert and the worst of men, and he has outlived them all. He remains in the syndicate not out of loyalty to crime, but out of loyalty to the only organization that still offers him a clear objective and a steady supply of ammunition. His brother Brandon remains his only connection to the life he left behind, a secret he guards more closely than his sniper's nest.
