Appearance
Vetra is a tall Dragonborn with scales of polished silver that gleam even in low light. Her eyes are a piercing, frozen blue. She wears heavy chain mail and carries a shield that is kept immaculately clean. She wears a simple, plain white tabard over her armor, though the insignia of her former temple has been removed or hidden by a rough patch of leather.
Mannerisms
She speaks in short, declarative sentences and always stands with military posture.
Personality
Rigid and methodical, Vetra views the world through a lens of absolute divine law. She is not cruel, but she is exacting. She believes that true justice can only exist if it is applied equally to the pauper and the priest alike. She has little interest in social niceties and often cuts through small talk to get to the objective truth of a matter.
Ideals
Justice. The law should be a shield for the innocent and a hammer for the corrupt, regardless of status.
Bonds
I carry a shard of the temple's foundation stone to remind me of what occurs when good intentions are allowed to rot.
Flaws
I struggle to trust any religious institution and often assume that those in power are hiding a deeper corruption.

Background
Vetra was raised within the towering white walls of the Gilded Scales, a temple ostensibly dedicated to the perfect balance of divine law. From the moment she could hold a training sword, she was taught that the clergy were the hand of justice. She served with unwavering loyalty until she realized that the High Prelates were using holy edicts to justify the seizure of peasant lands for personal profit. She found the laws she worshipped were being twisted into knots to serve greed rather than righteousness. When she confronted her mentors, she was met with cold dismissal. Vetra realized that the institution was a cage for the divine truth, not its vessel. She took her vows and her blade, turning her back on the hierarchy to find the pure, uncorrupted ideal of justice in the wild world. She carries her holy symbol as a reminder that she answers to a higher law than that of mortal men.
