Appearance
Roman is a physically imposing man, standing 6ft. 5in. tall with a heavily muscled, brawler build. His tan skin is marked by a traditional Samoan Pe'a tattoo that covers his right arm, shoulder, and pectoral. He sports long black hair and a rugged face with a thick horseshoe mustache. He wears a front-hip holster for his Taurus 608 and several weapons tucked into his belt.
Mannerisms
Rolls his shoulders with a loud crack before speaking. Often grinds his teeth when thinking through a tactical problem.
Personality
Roman is a man of few words and decisive actions. He carries the discipline of the Legion into every street brawl. While he has a terrifying presence, he is calculated and professional. He prefers the pragmatism of a solved problem over the vanity of a fair fight. He respects strength but values the cold efficiency of a tactical mind more than blind rage.
Ideals
Discipline is the only thing that keeps a man from becoming a beast. Peace is a temporary state maintained by the strong.
Bonds
My loyalty belongs to Ripley and the Shroud Syndicate. They gave me a home when the Legion fell.
Flaws
I assume every problem can be solved with a hammer or a bullet. I have no patience for those who do not respect the chain of command.

Background
Roman Barrett was forged in the southern military camps of Desertstone, raised by a Legion soldier and a quartermaster. After years of service in the Iron Hoof, the formal wars ended, leaving a mountain of a man with no master. He migrated to Zahra-Nur, where the law of the street replaced the law of the camp. His ability to blend military precision with savage street fighting caught the eye of the Shroud Syndicate. Now, he serves as Ripley's hand of order in a city of chaos. His body is a map of his history, from the Pe'a ink of his heritage to the scars of the battlefield. He no longer fights for a flag, but for the stability of the Syndicate and the partner who gave him a new purpose. Whether he is breaking bones in an alley or casting tactical magic to shield his allies, Roman remains the ultimate survivor.
