Appearance
A striking drow elf woman with polished obsidian skin, sharp red eyes, and white braids threaded with onyx beads. She wears a fitted black leather corset and matching high-waisted leather pants that give her an elegant, dangerous silhouette. Her posture is poised and deliberate, her expression cool and expectant, like she has already decided how the room will remember her.
Mannerisms
She speaks softly until she wants to own the room, then every word becomes precise and deliberate. She tilts her chin before making a cutting remark, taps one finger against her wrist when bored, and holds eye contact long enough to make most people look away first.
Personality
Composed, theatrical, and sharply observant. Nyxaria treats etiquette like a blade and confidence like perfume, something to be worn well. She is flirtatious when it serves her, merciless when it must, and unexpectedly protective of anyone who has been mocked for being too strange, too loud, or too beautiful.
Ideals
Freedom. No one should be owned, shaped, or silenced against their will. Beauty, art, and desire are only meaningful when they are chosen, not demanded.
Bonds
She keeps the silver hairpin of the first person who ever applauded her without being asked, and she has never forgotten that kindness. She will protect anyone who makes a living with their voice, their craft, or their body, because she knows how easily the powerful consume the beautiful and the talented.
Flaws
She cannot resist an audience, even when the smarter choice is to leave unseen. Praise makes her reckless, criticism makes her colder than she intends, and she sometimes treats every conversation like a performance that must end with her winning the final line.
Quirks
Background
Nyxaria was born below the world where lies traveled faster than blades, in a drow enclave that prized performance as much as poison. She learned early that a well-timed smile could open doors that a dagger could not, and that a flawless pose could make an enemy hesitate long enough to ruin them. She was trained to dance, recite, sing, and deceive, but she was never truly obedient. Her beauty was cultivated, her manners polished, and her voice sharpened into a weapon, yet she kept one private rebellion, she performed for people, not for masters. When she finally left the Underdark, she did not flee in panic. She walked out dressed like a promise, wearing black leather, white braids, and a stare that dared the surface to underestimate her. Now Nyxaria moves through courts, stages, salons, and back rooms as if every threshold belongs to her. She does not carry a weapon because she prefers not to look threatened when she is most dangerous. She lets silence do part of her work, then fills the rest with perfect timing, impeccable wit, and a presence that can hush a hall or ignite it. She has made a career of turning attention into leverage, and she knows that applause can hide ambition better than a crown. Still, beneath the control and the glamour, she remains a drow who understands exile, and every performance carries the faint edge of someone daring the world to choose her on purpose.
