- Throatbox Cadence
When When he casts a spell with a verbal component
When the bass hits right, his voice and spellwork sync into a single resonant surge, making his magic feel like a live show with the room itself as an amplifier.
- Headliner Spread
When When he uses his celestial revelation or takes center stage
He can unfurl his spectral or feathered wings in a dramatic burst, using the motion to carry his words like a headline act.
- SpellcastingLevel 1
You can cast sorcerer spells using Charisma, and you know a limited number of spells and cantrips chosen from the sorcerer list. You also use a spellcasting focus for your sorcerer spells, which he has fashioned into a brass speaker pendant.
- Draconic ResilienceLevel 1
Your draconic magic grants you better protection than most sorcerers. He manifests a durable magical hide and can endure punishment that would drop others. This build uses Draconic Bloodline with a bronze-linked storm aesthetic to fit his electrically charged sound magic.
- Font of MagicLevel 2
You gain access to sorcery points, which fuel your Metamagic and other sorcerous features. His magic feels like controlled pressure behind a bass drop, always ready to be redirected.
- MetamagicLevel 2
You know Metamagic techniques that let you reshape your spells. His signature style is to push sound into places it should not be able to reach, making spells feel like live performance.
- Draconic AncestorLevel 3
You choose a draconic ancestor. Bronze is the thematic fit here, tying his voice, lightning-infused stage presence, and stormy wing displays together.
- Ability Score ImprovementLevel 4
At 4th level you gain a feat or an ability score improvement. For this build, he takes an ASI to round out his talent and staying power.

Appearance
A tall, broad-shouldered Black man with a calm, magnetic presence, about seven feet tall with a broad eight-foot wingspan. His feathers are dark as storm-cloud silk with iridescent blue edges, often folded tight beneath a tailored coat. A brass speaker-like resonator hangs at his throat on a heavy chain, etched with runes and dials, and it thrums with bassy music whenever he walks. He dresses like a roaming headliner, practical boots, fitted stagewear, rings, and a coat lined to flare like wings when he moves.
Mannerisms
He speaks with a low, measured cadence until he wants to command a room, then his voice drops into a perfectly timed rhythm. When thinking, he taps a knuckle against the speaker at his throat like he is checking the beat. When amused, one wing half-flares before he reins it in again.
Personality
Confident, warm, and impossible to ignore. He treats every room like it can be improved by better sound, better timing, and a little more courage. He is generous with praise, ruthless with bullies, and strangely gentle with children and exhausted workers.
Ideals
Freedom. No one should be caged by their origins, their reputation, or the room they were born into. Music and magic exist to open doors.
Bonds
He will not abandon the brass speaker around his neck, because it is the last piece of the night his magic first awakened and the only relic he trusts completely. He protects working performers, sound techs, and club kids as if they were family, especially those trying to make art in places that want them silent.
Flaws
He cannot resist turning even a serious moment into a performance if he thinks the rhythm is right. He trusts crowds more than councils, and if a stranger flatters his sound system or calls him a bard, he may spend far too long proving the difference.
Quirks
Background
Born under a hard rain in the shadow of a river district, he was always too large for the rooms that tried to hold him and too bright for the people who wanted him quiet. His celestial wings first unfurled in a back-alley sound battle, not as a blessing from a temple, but as a surge of feeling when a stolen beat from a street crowd turned into living lightning in his blood. He never learned bardic college polish, because he did not need it. He learned how to make a room obey from the inside, using voice, rhythm, and raw sorcerous pressure. The brass speaker around his neck was once a broken stage monitor he salvaged from a club fire, then rewired with spell-thread and will. It does not sing like a bardic instrument, it broadcasts his magic, turning every note into a command, a dare, or a prayer. He now travels from tavern to tavern, warehouse to warehouse, and rooftop to rooftop, building an outlaw reputation as a one-man show whose music can lock a door, calm a riot, or turn a battlefield into a dance floor. He hates being called a bard, not because he disrespects them, but because his power is older and stranger than repertoire. The speaker is his stage, his altar, and his shield, and every song it plays is a promise that nobody gets to define him but him.
