Appearance
Thresher is a towering 6 foot 4 inch juggernaut of scarred steel and blackened iron. His construction is industrial and lacks the elegance of modern warforged. Thick, dried straw sprouts from his head like a wild, golden mane, tangled in the gaps of his plating. His eyes glow with a piercing, emerald light that flares intensely when his blood lust rises. He wears no clothing, his metallic body serving as both skin and armor.
Mannerisms
Thresher tilts his head with a mechanical click whenever he is confused, and his voice sounds like stones being ground together in a hopper.
Personality
Thresher is a creature of few words, often communicating through the low hum of his internal furnace. He possesses a strange, protective gentleness toward plant life and small animals, contrasted sharply by a volcanic temper when civilization encroaches on nature. He views his iron body as a tool that was meant for death but chose life, and he reacts with extreme violence to anyone who threatens his self-declared territory.
Ideals
Preservation. Life must be allowed to take root, even in the coldest iron.
Bonds
I carry the seeds of the family who gave me a name. One day, I will find a place where they can finally grow.
Flaws
The smell of smoke triggers my combat subroutines. I cannot distinguish between a campfire and a war zone.

Background
Thresher was forged for a forgotten border war, a heavy infantry unit designed to breach fortifications. When his unit was decimated by a magical catastrophe, Thresher was left buried in the mud of a neutral territory valley. For decades, the soil reclaimed him. A family of gnomish farmers discovered what they thought was a metal statue and, unable to move it, built their barn around him. Thresher remained dormant, watching the seasons pass through the barn slats, and he eventually grew to love the quiet rhythm of the harvest. Straw and silt filled his vents, becoming part of his chassis. The peace ended when a mercenary company razed the farm for supplies. As the barn burned, the heat jumpstarted Thresher's dormant core. He emerged from the flames, a harvest spirit made of scorched steel, and slaughtered the invaders with the very tools he once used to clear stumps. He now wanders the wilds, his mind a blurred mix of agricultural instinct and military programming, seeking the men who turned his sanctuary to ash.
