He wears practical chain mail beneath a moss-green surcoat and carries a worn leather field journal. The journal's lower-right corner is polished nearly smooth from years of being thumbed while he thinks. His voice is gentle and low, with a faint breathy rasp when calm. When rattled, he stops breathing for a heartbeat, then speaks in short, clipped phrases while unconsciously making a soft clicking sound with his tongue.

Quietly curious and unfailingly observant, Nima treats animals, strangers, and enemies as mysteries before he treats them as threats.
