Appearance
Lyra is a vision of lethal elegance. Her skin is a pale canvas almost entirely hidden by solid black ink tattoos that swirl in hypnotic, organic patterns from her neck to her toes. She favors minimal, translucent silks that reveal the complexity of her ink, moving with a predator's grace. Her face is strikingly beautiful, framed by raven-black hair, and her eyes hold a cold, intelligent depth.
Mannerisms
Lyra moves with a slow, deliberate fluidity that suggests she is always dancing. She has a habit of tilting her head slightly when listening, like a bird of prey identifying the weak point in its dinner.
Personality
Charming and impossibly calm, Lyra treats every conversation like a high-stakes performance. She speaks in a melodic, soothing voice that masks her complete lack of empathy. She views other sentient beings as either tools to be used or canvases to be permanently silenced, finding a strange, artistic peace in the moment of a target's expiration.
Ideals
Artistry. Every death I orchestrate must be a masterpiece of silence and precision.
Bonds
My tattoos are the only honest record of my life. If my ink were ever to be marred, I would lose my identity.
Flaws
I am addicted to the thrill of high-stakes infiltration and cannot resist targeting those who believe they are untouchable, regardless of the danger.
Quirks
Background
Raised in the soot-choked alleys of Atrix, Lyra quickly learned that the most effective way to survive was to become the thing others feared. She began as a simple street thief, but she soon discovered that the ultimate power over a person is the power to end them. Her serial killings began as a necessity but evolved into a dark, ritualistic art form, each murder commemorated by a new addition to the black ink sleeves that cover her body. Over time, she integrated the silver-tongued manipulations of a bard into her repertoire, allowing her to talk her way into the highest courts and most secure bedrooms of Atrix. She does not kill for gold or politics, though she will take both. She kills for the perfection of the act, viewing the world as a sprawling gallery where she is the premier, albeit hidden, artist.
