Features
8 featuresBonus action
- Bardic InspirationLevel 1
You can inspire others through stirring words or music. As a Bonus Action, you can give one creature other than yourself within 60 feet a Bardic Inspiration die, a d6. Within the next hour, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one failed D20 Test. The creature can wait until after rolling the D20 before deciding to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, with a minimum of twice. You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Always on

Appearance
A broad-shouldered human with sun-browned skin, dark brown eyes, and thick black hair worn in a loose braid tied with faded blue thread. Their leather armor fits poorly at the shoulders but has been carefully patched with contrasting pieces of red and ochre hide. A small silver holy symbol hangs beside a well-polished reed flute, the only possessions they maintain with near-vanity. Their hands are ink-stained from religious copying and calligraphy, while their boots and travel cloak are visibly worn from long roads.
Mannerisms
Naramai taps a steady rhythm against their wrist whenever they are thinking. They address strangers with formal courtesy until the moment they decide the person is being dishonest, then their speech becomes blunt and almost conversationally cheerful.
Personality
Curious, irreverent, and intensely observant. Naramai is quick to laugh, quicker to question authority, and surprisingly gentle with frightened people and animals. They collect rumors as carefully as other people collect coins, but they dislike being the center of attention unless performing gives them control of the room.
Ideals
Freedom. Faith that cannot survive questions is only obedience wearing sacred clothing.
Bonds
I carry a copied prayer book containing the proof of corruption that destroyed my first temple. I will protect it and eventually return it to the people who were harmed.
Flaws
I mistake defiance for moral courage and would rather make a dramatic enemy than admit I need help. When frightened, I become argumentative, especially with anyone claiming authority.
Quirks
Background
Naramai Veyoru was raised in a small roadside shrine where caravans stopped to water their animals and leave offerings before crossing the salt flats. Their family had no great wealth, but Naramai learned early that a well-timed song could calm a frightened child, settle an argument, or convince a tired traveler to share the last of their dates. The shrine's elder taught them scripture, calligraphy, and the flute, insisting that devotion was not silence but attention, the discipline of noticing what people needed before they asked. Naramai eventually left the shrine after discovering that the local priest had been quietly selling safe passage to bandits. Rather than expose the priest through formal channels, Naramai copied the evidence into a prayer book, stole the temple's fastest mule, and carried the book to a distant magistrate. The scandal cost them their place in the temple, but not their faith. Now they travel as a wandering performer and occasional relic-bearer, using music, charm, and stubborn physical courage to protect the vulnerable. They still pray each morning, though their prayers have become arguments with the gods rather than obedient recitations.
